But what we can really talk about is technique: Intonation, using the diaphragm, chest voice, head voice, and vocal registers. At most, that’s what can be stated...

I, for example, love Devin Townsend and this beast right here:

On the other extreme, for example, I find João Gilberto’s voice absolutely incredible, which has nothing to do with the power of Dickinson or Townsend:

Axel Rose is up there, I think he can do 5-octaves, but having an extended range is a curse for most singers!

 

Yeah that bass guy has 10 octaves

Probably all in the sub register though so more like, any lower and only whales can appreciate it
