When I click to install this program, it opens a control window, but it doesn't install anything at all. So if I restart my PC, the program closes immediately. What's the point of running this program?

 

It allows you to change all those settings it shows. Those changes persist even after you reboot. You have to change them back if you want to undo them. It's not like a firewall you install and it keeps running. It gives you easy access to those settings without digging all over the place to find them.

Your problem probably started off with something silly in the first place. Since most of what you have been offered as "help" has likely just been the output of an AI, I would at least go directly to source of such information. Go on chatgpt.com and ask it this: "0xc0000005 error on pc". You could change PC to Windows and whatever version you are running.

You can rule out well over half of it immediately. The first thing to consider, is why you were reinstalling Windows in the first place. Did you skip installing graphics drivers for your GPU? And so on. Now you are probably creating problems on your DAW computer that will come back and bite you in the ass later. For a plugin you don't even need....
