just a thought... without keygens, when and if team r2r cease to exist,
will we be able to authorize our plugins on new pc installs..like when we have the keygens we
can authorize at will...

 

Warez installation and authorization are all local, why would R2R's existence (god bless the witches) interfere with previous installations? Maybe I'm not following you...

 

R2R are not the only witches. They are the best, but they are not the only ones. Others will step up. There will always be witches.

i mean if i have all of my plugins rely on team r2r system for activation then if for some reason the team r2r system
disappears ???..up till now all my plug ins are saved with their individual keygens....from now on it seems that plugins will depend on the availability of the team r2r system..if that some how becomes inaccessible...well
then that becomes a problem

 

when the last witch leaves he will pull the plug and your plugins turn into plugouts

 

You still can activate team AiR, ASSiGN, DYNAMiCS etc releases even if they are not active teams now. So i don't understand why R2R contribution to the scene would disappear.

 

You are worrying far too much about what may never happen, and likely WILL never happen!

 

Logic is simple:
1. You have your plugins relying on R2R activation. You install them.
2. They're working. Forever.
3. R2R dissapears (I hope it won't, but let's be honest: everything has an end).
4. You keep on using those releases as if nothing happened, just the same as it happened with Team AiR, or H2O, or Radium, or PARADOX... I still use some releases from AiR and ASSiGN and... no problems at all!

If you're thinking of new releases, OK, you're right, you won't have the R2R releases because they won't exist anymore, but at the same time, there'll be other teams doing what R2R won't be doing anymore. I hope this clarifies your doubts.

//EDIT: Going further, imagine you change your computer, your C drive dies, whatever the situation is, you get a new PC, C drive or whatever and you reinstall them. They'll work.
