    Hi !
I wanted to know how to obtain this kind of hard-sync like/resynthesis voice. I don't know what kind of effect is used, even if i suspect resynthesis for Zardonic one.

    Here is one :
    zardonic 10th-anniversary-mix

    And another one (different) :
    blackoctopus leviathan

I know a bunch of tricks...but i'm totally dry on those ones

    Thanks for your help !

Can't listen to the first link. My soundcloud/flash is fucked.

Levithan: Vocoder and very fast tremolo (fast sine/tri/square LFO on amplitude).

Yes, it was vocoder with fast/hard settings
That's why i first thought it was resynthesis (i will explore this way, too)

You can search for "Geth Voice" (mass effect) on youtube, and find some examples with audacity vocoder settings.
I found other cool voice effects on "Mass Effect Discovery" channel.

Thanks guys for your help ! :mates:

To me, the Geth sounds like vocoder with a K-S (Karplus-Strong) string synthesis (plus some noise added for sibilance), mixed with the original voice (but multi-pitched and bandpassed or lowpassed).
I think I'm going to try to recreate it (shouldn't be too hard to get close). Could be a fun project to show my sound design teachers at school this fall.

Take a look at this one, he uses multiple pass of pitched delay

Antares voice effects line can be very twisted if you push them. I was not so impressed for a "regular" usage, but i will try them for special effects
