I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but what am I supposed to do with .r2rwm files that are contained in new R2R releases?

@dawghouse, you need this one: TEAM R2R System v1.0.2-R2R

R2R System contains essential tools and runtimes for our releases.

 

Why can we mention the R2R stuff? Is it because they created it and it's free?

 

From some comment on sister-site: ".r2rwm file: That is basically a config-file for the Keygenin' Tools within the R2R System Framework."

In other words: The ".r2rwm" file bascially tells the R2R System Framework how exactly it should create the key(s) for that specific Plugin. Hope that clarifies.

Hello @flier0244, you can mention almost anything, but you can't link directly. Maybe reread the forum rules.

We all strive to help if a user can't install something or encounters other music-related problems. In @dawghouse's case,
he needs to install the R2R file "TEAM R2R System"; otherwise, he won't be able to activate his new software.

this was only created so that mac users cant use the keygens anymore for mac releases.... :D

 

Thanks all for the responses - as often happens with this kind of thing I worked it out on my own almost instantly after posting this, hahah.

 

And btw: R2R packages their releases with a textfile called "Runtime.txt" ... Why does (obviously) no one care to ever read it when it is there??!?

people get used to seeing that file with no different information in it, for a long time. So they stop looking.

 

R2R System is working so flawless i want to install k'd plugins all day long instead of actually making music

It really is so much more efficient being able to register all at once, and to have my info in there already.
