That's great and thanks for the kind feedback I'm so glad it will be getting used and was more shuffling the .rml code around from the Default TUS TrancyTI [Skin] but also Grok helped with some tricky code, but seeing every line of the code made me understand it much more as asking for any help in the TUS Discord forum was just ignored. The Arp was my worst nightmare as everything had to be times by .55 but all worked out great and wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The Osirus 'NeonOzzy' should allow changing the Distortion Curve as well as changing Delay/Reverb [Mode/Type/LFO Shape] and Unison [Voices] all in that top right Quick Control panel. Thanks again

I just edited the large 'background,' 'about,' 'arp,' and 'bottom' PNGs easily findable in the skin folder. Both of these are modified versions of other 3rd-party skins. Until the WHAT-THE-FUCKs at TUS unblock me from their Discord, these will not be shared anywhere. But you can make them easily enough. Probably better than I did.

As most probably know, and that's why it's great we have some great Audiosex contact with each other, that branded skins aren't allowed on DSP56300's Discord server. I truely think it's total bullocks, not from DSP56300's part but from the brands. They stopped their production, there's a group doing amazing work to keep the hardware in a forever emulated state and when other great creative people represent the true colors, see it as a form of "free advertisement", the legal team, possibly with all the Ai stuff going which make them drink coffee all day unless they need to go to courg, send out an automated NoT and by doing DCMA the hell out of creativity. I know trademarks, legal rights, but these companies should be more supportive. They choose to stop producing and now there's a group that put in 1000's of hours to keep the thing they made alive for future generations. It's not that they got "Uli rolled".....yet..... A true hardware version of the 8080 called the BP-8080, in rack form. Dang, that makes my trombone's tuning slide do a glissando on its full 7...

Finding this thread is like a dream come true, yes my dreams aren't big atm but that's because life kicked me 1000's of times in the face the past three years and I therefore lowered my expectations. A very positive thing about that is when I saw the 8080 skin I totally fell in with in 2025, that same feeling is back, especially after trying to contact the previous creator to no avail. It hasn't got the rash that the great supporter put on his version but still, I'm a sucker for original hardware skins, though I'm hoarding the other skins too because sometimes a switch can do wonders for some reason. But in all honesty, Neon styles aren't compatible anymore with my eyes due to colof triggering which is a dang shame because it would be my goto skin wiithout a doubt.

My thanks to y'all who put in your time to create all these pieces of digital artwork because that simply is what it is. I will impatiently wait for that, True Blue, one because, baby I love you. See what I did here? Gen X and back will know. It was the time she could sing in tune and looked great in latex .

 

I was blocked from the TUS Discord purely for ideological reasons, and that is inappropriate. You're talking in a way that I can't accurately understand you, and I feel a need for this clarification.

In the TUS Discord there are a number of angry transsexuals, and you MUST agree with them. They bring it up cyclically. Or did. Trolling. Admins trolling ideologically.

The rumor I hear is the Discord is quiet now. Maybe they've been "fixed."

I was heavily invested in the EMU project in the early days, way before anything was close to functional.
At that time the world was heading into the pandemic and I was in need of something humorous.
So I took the time to smoke a few buds and come up with some ideas for the UI - see below :P

Due to my use of Access and Virus the ideas were quashed pretty quickly and I was asked not to mention or post anything which may have legal implications for the project and the team in future - which I do fully understand and appreciate. I have huge respect for what they have achieved since then, seriously next level.

However, I never liked the actual names that they came up with for any of their plugins. I had planned to recreate the original UI for myself (or perhaps Covid Virus versions as operable skins), however very fortunately for me I ended up landing an awesome job just a few weeks into the first of many lock downs so my time ended up being devoted to that, instead of skinning plugins to kill time...

Anyway, enough about me!

I just wanted to say a big thanks to those who recreated the legit UI's as skins for the plugins, you saved me a lot of time. And thought you guys might have a giggle at my ideas along the way ;)

I am also working on a skin at the moment and have already made a lot of progress, but I have a few questions.
1) What tool do you use to create the skins? I need it to make a few changes.
2) What tool do you use to create the knobs? I'm currently using Knobman, but I can't find a function to arrange the knobs horizontally, with 10 in a row and then one below the other.

I use Photoshop to edit/create new skin graphics/background .pngs [on Windows] or any alternative photoshop style software should do the job and use NotePad++ to edit the .rml and .rcss files (on Windows). Always click save and not 'save as' after editing .rml/.rcss to save as same file type.
As for the A4 page style knobs I have also struggled creating those and the only way I managed it a few times is to make the knobs all horizontal for export in knobman and then align them all in Photoshop assuming you find the right size that match perfectly and doesn't take long if you have the correct size which can also be a nightmare. (If you do find out though and would love to know too)
There's also another knobstudio program but still I've never found a way to do the knobs as you would like.

I think you could possibly just use vertical or horizontal but you would have to edit the .rml and .rcss for that knob .png
(You can search in NotePad++ for the knob .png name finding all the frame/px settings in the .rcss and knob numbers/size for the knobs in the .rml)
