First time trying to make wonders with something I didn't orignally recorded or was present at the time of recroding. First time using Waves Curves Resolve. First time toning down what orignally was a burlesque type of track.

I’m wearing red, the sun is going down
The finest ghost in this forgotten town
The ice is melting in a silver glass
I watch the shadows on the velvet grass
The air is heavy and the wind is still
I’m dancing on the edge against my will.

Oh, I’ve got that solstice fever in my soul
Watching all the golden light turn coal
Kiss me hard before the day is through
I’m a tragedy in shades of blue
It’s a beautiful decay, a velvet state of mind
Leave the summer and the rest behind.

The old Mercedes has a broken top
We’re driving fast and we will never stop
You look like cinema from sixty-four
Before we knew what all the grief was for
The wires are humming in the violet heat
I feel the pavement burning 'neath my feet.

Is it heaven? Is it hell?
In this heat, I can’t quite tell.
Take this ring off, let it fall
I’d rather have nothing than have it all.

Oh, I’ve got that solstice fever in my soul
Watching all the golden light turn coal
Kiss me hard before the day is through
I’m a tragedy in shades of blue
It’s a beautiful decay, a velvet state of mind
Leave the summer and the rest behind.

Could well be a Eurovision contender, from a hopefully peaceful nation.

Okay, it's almost certainly AI. 0% Talent, 100% Laziness. I'm sick of this AI-generated garbage.

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to reply. And evaluate the audio. And attaching the screenshot!

As I wrote, I got this vocal recording and a whole different track from a third party, asking me to tone it down and make it more basic. I did my best, removed a lot of artificial crap, polished the vocals, and tbh worked on this specific track 9 hours or so.
The original music, could've been generated with AI, I'm not judging, and heck I'm using acestudio, midiagent and rarely using a self made engine myself on my tracks, but I did the best I could do.
So I wouldn't call it laziness or no effort. If any, taking jumble of audios, recordings, bits of music from the artist and trying to make it worth listening is not that easy. That being said, thank you again for taking the time. I will start posting the next tracks with mippia screenshot for guys like you :)

Yes, I understand that you weren't the author. But from the very first listen, I had my doubts. There's always a problem with the transients in music generated by clankers; if you pay attention, it's obvious.

Personally, I refuse to work on this kind of production. I always check beforehand with detection tools to be sure before rejecting a project.

Uploading AI-generated music to Bandcamp is prohibited by the site's EULA. One day, this track will be unceremoniously removed by the platform. And it obviously won't be your fault.

In fact, there's even a clue in the song title: "Velvet Decay." I think it means in the wake of the Velvet Underground, the fake AI band.

The Velvet Underground was an experimental rock band formed in New York City in 1964. Its initial lineup consisted of Lou Reed (guitar, vocals), John Cale (bass, viola, keyboards and vocals), Angus MacLise (drums, bongos, hand drums) and Sterling Morrison (guitar).

Man I can't count the number of projects I get to "white label" Suno crap. It's almost impossible. You need to recreate everything, and while it's possible and even fun sometimes, most of them are junk.

Specifically in this case I know the singer and I know she can pull a track. She has husky Lorde type vocals which I absolutely love.
This time they tried to cut corners or I don't know what they did but the stems were meh and her voice was overproduced and overworked.

You can see that our previous work (which I handled 95% of it) passed the test!

Currently working on a new track which I will produce from scratch (yay old school) and I'm hoping to be able to record her by myself or otherwise I would have to use a sample of her voice and generate the vocals for a reference for a later recording (which is ok but not perfect).

    Thanks for the input again!

Worst experience in music's history. But also a great in depth look on the "end product theory" which proves the audience doesn't really care as long as it's sound good.

Listened to this and all I could think was that the vocal is so robotic-like perfect, every note exactly on the beat, never a spot where a singer would take a breath, never the slightest intonation off, that they either chained this poor woman to a studio booth for weeks, punching in every single word and line till she got it perfectly right, or else it must be AI.

There really needs to be a thing here, and everywhere else for that matter, where AI productions are clearly labeled as such so that people can know exactly what they're listening to. Personally, I'd rather not be listening to AI at all, but we should really be clear right from the get-go what it is you're listening to. Without that this becomes a game of 'did we fool them or not', instead of an opportunity to appreciate other people's musical efforts and ambitions.
