Mexican food in not only New Orleans, but pretty much the entire state of Louisiana is generally terrible. And those are the good places. When you ask for hot sauce and they ask if you want Crystal or Louisiana, it's time to leave. You'd think otherwise, just due to proximity and so on.
Keep driving until you hit Houston or Chicago.

He probably lost a good amount of relevance when he figured out there is no money to be made in telling people what NOT to buy. Ok, we get it, this isn't snake oil either. He's not exposing all that much junk anymore, which was the whole reason his videos became popular.

When the majority of consumers stop buying their products, they will disappear from the market due to lack of demand.

Because "they" (whoever this "they" are) will stop selling music to other people and not making money from music?

80–90% of people who make music never make more than a few hundred dollars, if anything at all.

If the majority of consumers stop buying products from the music industry, they will disappear from the market due to lack of demand.

The sentence explained differently. The consumer is to blame, not the companies. As long as you, the consumer, keep buying the products of those in charge, nothing will change. A practical example: If everyone stops paying Spotify tomorrow, Spotify will go bankrupt after running out of money due to lack of demand.

So, as a consumer, your only option is not to buy a product. If a large number of people stop buying or boycott a product, the company will go bankrupt. Was that so difficult to understand?

The music industry in Germany generated approximately €1.16 billion in revenue in the first half of 2025, representing an increase of around 1.4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. While physical media accounted for 12.5 percent of revenue, 87.5 percent came from the digital segment. Vinyl albums, meanwhile, contributed 5.6 percent.

Global Music Industry Status In 2024, global revenue from physical and digital music sales reached approximately US$29.6 billion. This represented another increase compared to the previous year. Streaming and digital segments generated over US$21 billion in revenue, accounting for approximately 72 percent of total revenue.

Tenth consecutive year of growth IFPI Global Music Report 2025: Music industry generates almost US$30 billion worldwide - March 26, 2025

The top 10 largest music markets remain largely unchanged. One exception is tenth place, where Mexico overtook Australia thanks to a 15.6 percent increase in revenue. Of the ten largest music markets, Brazil saw the strongest revenue growth, increasing by 21.7 percent compared to 2023.

Latin America, in general, is among the regions with the largest year-on-year revenue growth, at 22.5 percent. The North Africa and Middle East (MENA) region and Sub-Saharan Africa also experienced strong growth (22.8 and 22.6 percent, respectively).

In contrast, the Asian market stagnated with overall growth of just 1.3 percent. Japan, the world's second-largest market, also stagnated with a decline

I had the misfortune of hearing one of his "masters" - not only is white sea studio a snake oil youtube video maker, so is his "mastering service"

I swear to god if I see this idiot's punchable face one more time I'm gonna kill myself.

"Known for delivering some of the most candid and technically grounded reviews in the audio industry, White Sea’s endorsement is not easily earned. His reviews are widely respected for cutting through promotional gloss and highlighting only what genuinely matters to working professionals."

For him to get this kind of praise, I'll have to believe he's even higher placed than Epstein.

Well.. I am not a frequent visitor of his, i probably have watched 20-30 of his vids the past ten years or so.
The guy might be peculiar and perhaps i kinda hate his personal delivery on camera, he also probably made a couple of bad calls in the past, like the Temu sponsorship to demonstrate shitty gear that he had to recall and apologize upon public demand.
But, he certainly knows how to do his mixing job, especially for his -kinda- younger age. Every recorded project i heard coming out of his DAW sounded very very good to my ears. I also took the liberty of visiting his studio page not so long ago and the select samples i heard of mixing and mastering were top notch or at least near top. So.
What is wrong with some of you guys sometimes. Why the hate and flaming, please. You don't like him, get out and do better. If you can. Just put your money where your mouth is, as they say. Peace and cheers

Wytse from White Sea Studio built his reputation on exposing 'snake oil,' positioning himself as an impartial sheriff protecting us from deceitful developers. However, his credibility crumbled after the revelations of undisclosed endorsements, paid reviews, and the infamous Temu collaboration—for which he only apologized after facing massive backlash. I hold him and his content in utter contempt. To me, every of his opinions are worthles.

Go out and listen to one of his masters, they're all over the internet search for "mastered by white sea studio".

Tell me that is a good master

It certainly is. At least forensic soft "says" it is. My ears too. Frequencies are balanced with a slight emphasis where it should be for the genre, the track is overall nicely evened out. Drums and percs are perhaps more snappy than punchy but this a good thing to my ears and bass is correctly controlled, so this will sound good in very loud volumes like a club or festival venue even. Phase is also coherent, well aligned.
It's just that the track -sort of- sucks like so many other nonsensical psy tracks nowadays. Laydown a fast trance kick and a bass arp, throw in some weirdness with spacey pads, swirls, as many fx as possible and the occasional cinematic ad lib voice over sample and you have the recipe that everybody who is clueless musically follows. It does have a structure to follow but it sounds like the dude selected every random note he could find lol. 8+ mins of boredom in my humble opinion. So yeah, the master is too good for this pompous turd if you ask me. But of course you may disagree as much as you like, it's a free world mate.
    Cheers

Apparently it was difficult for you. The "music industry" is not only composed of Spotify, Youtube, Record labels, as you seem to be only concerned with. People will continue going on to buy instruments, software, sound reinforcement and pro audio gear without any of them. People will continue to go to colleges to learn, theaters and venues to watch performances, the day after they are going to "suddenly" implode.

    It would change, again.
