Blofeld Sample Memory Unlock?

    Is it possible to crack this? i have 350£ synth with flash memory i own but cant use until i pay waldorf another 100£... shocking..
    people with the keyboard and black versions have this functionality out of the box i believe. lucky..

    Hopefully someone has some more info on the subject, this should be the place for it i guess. :wink:
    I believe the update is just a midi file (same for everyone?) sent to the machine similar to a firmware update.
    If its a generic midi file, maby a group buy is in order?.. *yes*

    id pay it it if was reasonable (most ppl would agree i hope) 10-30£.. not 100 f#@~ing quid! thats the best part of a new synth!
    I dont even get anything for 100£!! F'~k! i already own it! they just remove the training wheels, sweet!

    i dont have any experience, but i guess its hardware blocked, so you need some kind of circuit diagram to know where to unlock. I think its still better in that case to pay the 100€ for the unlock. save 10€ a month and you have your 100€ in 10 months to unlock it.

    Arcticstorm - cheers bro, I understand its not going to be easy after searching some more, and the blofled apparently gets even more buggy with SL enabled. its not that important, peace!

    The unlocking procedure is purely done in software. You give Waldorf the blofeld's serial, and they'll generate an unlock code. You would either need access to their, well yes, "keygen" or reverse-engineer the blofeld's native code. I doubt this time-consuming task would pay off in the end. We're talking £ 78,- here, not thousands. And btw, the latest License SL sems to be stable enough, I'm using it too.
