    Hello guys,

I’m urgently looking for a Windows audio recorder to capture some exotic online radio stations. Not so much the music, but rather the spoken words (for turntablism).

I can’t find any audio recorder online that’s actually free. On the sister site, none of those offers work properly (I mean, they run, but they aren’t cracked, after 60 seconds the recording cuts out).

Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?

I’d also be willing to spend a few bucks if it doesn’t cost the world, but the ones I’ve found so far seem way too expensive for such a simple task, in my opinion.

    Thank you in advance!

I use Audacity. It's free. Although I use the Linux version, it is also for windows.

You're very welcome. I prefer Audacity as paul_audioz mentioned.
It's great freeware, I''ve been using it for years.

Audacity is getting better and better. It can use VST(i)'s also. And it gets multi-track handling. However, I do not find it user-friendly. I only use it to record live music from a website. Reaper and other program's have conflict in audio-driver settings. Audacity can use its own driver. And it's free!

    What about VB audios voicemeeter?
    https://vb-audio.com/Voicemeeter/banana.htm
It creates virtual hardware you can output to, insert FX, Route and record.
Dswswasapiaudiorouter (I can't remember the exact name) might do the same, but voice meeter is a bit easier to handle.
