Some places should have a checkbox for "I've read the instructions/manual" which is then displayed alongside the review.

Having said that, I also think a lot of fora could do with a "I read/watched the linked article/video" and a simple notification to the commenter that "the link has been up 5 minutes, no way you've read/watched it yet. do that and come back later".

Yes, I'm guilty of sometimes commenting having not read something. It takes some discipline not to judge a book by it's cover and would be better just to ignore instead of snarking.

 

AudioSexPro forum members simply know more; unfortunately, he's not a member here and probably won't get to enjoy the JE8086.

If one does the least bit of reading or looking or asking around they'll get a clue, get a clue, get a clue, that the hardwares, along with the bins, periodically blow around and in with the wind. Sometimes they may even be found, curbside, along with a little sign that says, 'Free'. If you can't afford a bottle from the store, you can always distill your own. I just added a 5 star with compliments. I'm hardly the most advanced person when it comes to these things. I scratched my head over coffee, that morning and then followed the breadcrumb trail left out. I was playing it, shortly later.

 

Good to know. So it was over coffee then, not tea?

 

the funny thing is that he is not even right about that it would not be free, even if it actually required a hardware to run.

you can bet he also does not know what G sharp means, or what glissando or rudiments are.

the emptier the brain the more letters they type into the interwebz.

On the High Seas we would label all of the Usual Suspects synths to be PIRACY as they produce no profits for the central banks.
Fortunately only these lads can't use their software.

 

That review is still there but has many deserved downvotes/dislikes.
Even OsTIrus, Nodal Red and others do not even have reviews as yet, so would be great if you use them to give them the 5 Star reviews they deserve and I believe I read in Discord that they would love people to leave reviews there too.

I think that's a great idea for good reviews for TUS' other projects, and will do! (Love my OsTIrus.)

Just to be clear; one of the 5-star reviews (that I quoted on here) was removed (probably because of the extra stuff), but has since been replaced with a shorter one that KVR seems ok with.
But the 1-star review-in-question, that deserves all its dislikes, is still there.
