i'm probably missing something. I put the files in the correct "skins" folder but it does not appear in the GUI Skin menu.

 

Thsi one works fine:

C:\Users\YourNameDocuments\The Usual Suspects\OsTIrus\skins

Clean Virus Ti2 2.0.2s

 

yes .. both my skins in one pack .. 2-in-1

if you have skin folder inside skin folder inside skins .. like this:

**:\Users\***\Documents\The Usual Suspects\JE8086\skins\grey-JE86v2.1\grey-JE86v2.1\

it not will be visible .. it must be like this

**:\Users\***\Documents\The Usual Suspects\JE8086\skins\grey-JE86v2.1\

my skin folder for example

 

unfortunately, this is the folder i put them into... no luck. i tried putting them both in zip and decompressed folders. Both do not work.

@xvir i am TOTALLY rocking the weyland skin, it FEELS great. thanks so much!

i got samsums neon glass skin going for the Virus TI, your weyland yutani for the 8086, got azzimovs skins for 95% of my nebula libraries. Got a team of people working on emulating classic synths and effects over at dsp53600 and some guys meticulously sampling old hardware for nebula use.

I AM SPOILED! now I just gotta make a song that I like!

Firstly, thank the contributors of skins to this thread! Great work by all and gives much appreciated variation to these plugins. I'm a visual person and really like the options. To give back I have a thread to share for the Vavra plugin that provides a more traditional look to teh Waldork micro Q.

The plugin comes with two style already which is the Full Editable versio and a rack view version. These skins are used in large part to the foundation of these but these provide manufaturer logo and color schemes matching the original units. Those were a bright sun yellow and blue facade.

These are first editions and there really were a couple things I wanted to change but had a difficult time in learning of this skin and could not find out how to do it. I tired to adit the colors of the text and background colrs of the patch manager and the data displays but came up empty. I welcome any tuelage on how to do this and of course any constructive feedback and comments. Below find the links. One large zip to grab all as one and other as individuals. As expected, place the full folders in your skins directory and they shoould be made available. Hope you enjoy.

@Lizard6454 are there any common errors any people are having installing the wonderful Q skins you graciously shared? I am not new to loading Vavra skins. For whatever reason, Vavra doesn't seem to see these. It sees the others. I have probably discovered a new way to be stupid. At a loss here. I do have the current VST3.

 

Partial solution found. VST2 x64 sees them. Wiping and reinstalling my VST3...

Full solution found - problem: HUMAN ERROR. Newest VST3 got put in wrong place by me.

 

Samsum- I can never go back to another skin that doesn't have those fx and cutoff and such for easy access. such a good idea, definitely improves my workflow. huge thanks! congrats on learning all the coding and stuff for it too, thats rad! looking forward to osiris version, i'll be using it more because of it absolutely.
