It will definitely be interesting to see what will happen here. Fender has owned Presonus since 2021.

Hopefully meaningful updates. Not just a name change.

Same for hardware. Their controllers are a bit long in the tooth.

 

Change log is huge. They've fixed so many things.

 

One should expect a company to offer a flawless product.

 

Fender's certainly a well-established name, but not one that most people would associate with recording software/technology. Because of that I don't really see how this name change, in and of itself, will benefit the product or its sales.

It will be interesting to see if they've revamped the 'protection' side of it. I'm guessing something will have been tightened up on that end of it.

 

Looking forward to see the new arrangement and console views, I've been feeling the lack of real state in 1080p for a while now. Other than that, disappointed with the lack of proper new mixing features. Still no proper dim solo, no parameter linking in plugins, no external oversampling, no improvements to plugin scanning... It's been two versions without major mixing upgrades.

It is called "Pro" because there is already a dumbed down "fender studio" app.
So the already dumbed down exist.

Seems going in the right direction ... for now.
