The only decent clone of the JP8080 is Adam Szabo's Airwave

 

It's a paid one. For free right now as regular vst Synthmaster One is decent!

Oh guess it’s technically not fully released yet, but hey we got at least a JP8000 with a smaller file size for the moment! Just hoping it’ll be fully ready to go by the summer…

 

its a very good replication. the additional reverb is also very good. i like airwave more than the USUAL Suspects

 

Does anyone know why there is no Advanced- DSP Clock in this synthesizer??? I am sure that such a feature would help many to reduce the load on the processor.It just stops the DAW due to the huge load, even a 512 or 1024 buffer does not save.What a pity.

 

What kind of PC do you have? What CPU, operating system, etc.?

interesting the Nodal was cray on the CPU when first released and then as the updates came out it has become playable. Hopefully the same will happen w this one?
