When I had Omnisphere 2 with the sound library installed in the same location as it is now, Ive never had this problem so I really dont think its a location problem

In Omnisphere 3 when just selecting from the Directory I get like a 10 second lag before it shows something, when presets are shown, I can click to preview & double click them to load the preset just fine with no lag, it only happens when selecting something from the Directory. For instance, my old 3rd party banks that I used in Omnisphere 2 when I go to "User" from the directory menu & go to the bank I want to open, it lags for 10 or more seconds before finally showing the list of presets, does anyone know how I can fix this? This makes it very unusable as it slows down the workflow drastically

 

it seems omnis 3 get slower the more libraries you add, having the same issue right now

 

It's atleast working for you. Mine won't even load a single patch. Says "can't load sounsource". Have tried every single thing I can find on the internet.

 

Sameish issue here just opening the vst or even the standalone itself. I just get a big black square where the GUI should be for about 8 seconds before it fills in. I'm hoping this gets fixed in the next update..... Fingers Crossed.

 

All seems to work ok here and I have all the O3 sound sources stored on HDD. Takes pretty much the same amount of time to load large patches as it did with O2. Doesn't take that long opening O3 on standalone or vst...

Was O3 working ok at one time, or is this something that started occurring over a long period?
