I don't know what they're waiting for, but Sync Player has already had two updates, but what about Piano Player? What's the point? Just to tease people?

 

Apparently, no one else has anything. So we are waiting for the trials...

 

I guess we'll see the change in Synchron player libs which makes using R2R player impossible before they start making new trials
I would do that if I were in the Austrians place

They are waiting for us to share all the syncron libraries. They already provided the tools to do so, once all syncron libraries are shared then they will provide the rest of the goodies. This is from their nfo. Now i think many never buy the vsl libraries because of its high price. So the witches wish is not fulfilled yet to release the next set of tools.

 

This cannot be done without changing the client. There is no protection in the world that R2R's would not crack.

 

That's what I meant, that a new client will be needed, which will require a new r2r release, and I have no doubts about the witches' abilities

 

And anyone who wants to help buy the libraries should come here and say how much they're willing to put in per library. I'm happy to put in 10% for the super-expensive libraries/bundles and up to 20% for the lesser ones. I'm just not sure what the best method is to collect payments so everyone's money is safe until the purchase is made and shared

 

While I appreciate it takes time to get a new system in place, I'm not actually sure they're aware? If they were, they'd take all trials off their website and they haven't.

Maybe their current model is best for them because, as they can see, people who aren't willing to spend any money aren't going to buy and share their products which is the exact scenario we are now in - even the individual instruments that are being sold for 50-80 Euros in the Studio Series aren't being shared.

So when legit used, its more about what to do with a product than what the product is. I tried my level best to collect from sources as mentioned above. You can see. Moreover everyone here would agree that VSL percussion and Brass doesn't even make it to top three recommendation list of anything. Where they are strong is strings mainly and woodwinds to a certain extent. About pianos I neither used nor have any experience, nor even heard to say something. I don,t mean to offend any user of the product though. I apologize for the same , if that should be the case.

By the way if I am to give them credit beyond their strings and woodwinds personally, it would have to be the Synchron Player. Easy to use and less cluttered than KONTAKT.

 

I think R2R could have released the Synchron pianos player by the end of 2026, closer to the next Halloween and Christmas, but not now, like all these releases. However, what they released didn't make much of an impression on me. Many people were expecting something different! Specifically, the vsl piano.
