Hey guys, I have a pretty complete library for Nexus, but am missing the 5 most recent expansions. If I want to add them to my library, in order for them to show up correctly, I know I need the corresponding svg files which can be downloaded from the refx site no problem.

But what about the content.json file? Is the newest content file provided with every VR release or do I need to let nexus connect to the internet in order to update that file? If yes, is it safe to let it go online?

Your help is much appreciated.

For the bloody life of me I cannot remember what we had to do to the svg files for the icons to pop up all shiny in the presets page.

Two new expansions just added and there they sit, little grey cubes by their names, whilst all their brethren's icons blaze in glorious colour.

It was such a simple little fix, but I cannot remember what it was. Help, please.

 

For some reason, EDM 11 and Melodic Techno 4 are in the same folder, not Expansion. The SVG files are there, correctly named, and organized into folders. Did they change something again?

 

Update the content_properties.json and tags.csv files

I want to get all the old school Nexus 2 sounds I used to have back in the day into Nexus 5. I have the newest VR version of Nexus 5 with only the Nexus 5 library of sounds. I believe I found the sound banks for most of the presets from Nexus 2. Below is information about what's included. Can I successfully import these and use them in Nexus 5? If so, would someone be so kind as to walk me through how to do it correctly?

^ Almost all of those are included if you get the full Nexus 4 Library. It is ~190 gb. That is everything up until the release of Nexus 5, so anything after that is not included. They should go in the same place you have all your other expansions. You have to edit the settings.json file for Nexus if you want to use them from an external drive.
