Hey all, recently I've been wondering about some hardware/software both physical and digital instruments that have great reviews, awesome user experience and support.

In your opinion what are the best companies?

In my experience, HorNet is amazing, Saverio is always respectful to user issues and requests along with great deals.

Off the top of my head and sometimes by different reasons:
Meldaproduction, Cockos (Reaper), Jam Origin (MIDI Guitar), Fabfilter, Blue Cat's Audio, Cytomic, CodeFn42 (free), Variety of Sound (free), Tracktion (Waveform)

    I'm sure there's many more
PS. I can't speak of their customer support because... ahem...

I personally think that making a tierlist with best plugins AND best companies separately would be more useful... cuz sure theres a handful of companies that make great plugins but have subpar/pathetic customer support

I agree, that's why I said "sometimes by different reasons". Hard to have all of the good points.

Easy for it to turn into a popularity contest or a junk fest. See above.

It's easier to create a list of companies you shouldn't deal with

I'm not ever doing that for free. There are zillions of ways to support the devs i like, mentioning one or another for the sake of it doesn't even make sense.

For once I disagree with you guys. I love this thread. Why?
Because this thread is about telling good things. In other words, in this day and age:
    A UNICORN

in terms of the quality of products or services?

    For Quality
    1. Valhalla
    2. Fabfilter
    3. Sonible
    4. U-He
    5. Eventide
    6. Soundtoys
    7. Klanghelm
    8. Xfer
    9. Synapse Audio
    10. Toontrack
    11. Dreamtonics
    12. Matthew Lane
    and more I guess ..

but for Services .. almost (but not) all the same, Hit n Run = They will abandon you once they got your money. But some of them are actually very nice and have a good quality of after sales services.

I believe xfer is ok regarding the plugin itself, but they say I‘m not allowed to sell it, so I don‘t allow myself to buy it.

    Not top tier imho.

I think most of the companies are pretty good. I don't really have any complaints that come into mind
