There is almost no "normal audit" which would ever make it an issue, besides a pentest of their own website. They are never going to pull all of the transactions they have conducted and look for ones which are "too low". I have never heard of any company that audits discounts, sale prices, and $0.00 transactions. That's something that would be found if they were matching invoices and accounts receivables. Or purchase orders and accounts payable. There would be no RMA or credit issued by an employee. There is no inventory missing, or even an on-hand inventory dollar variance. And this is with large companies running actual systems like Oracle and SAP. A company like Thomann or Sweetwater would figure it out LONG before some tiny little plugin company like those in question. (except for really little, like Xfer or someone of that size).

The big wood production desk I am sitting at right now is perfect example. Bought online for almost 1000$ and it came with a broken part. Not Sweetwater or Thomman. They dropped it off one day with a box truck. I called and complained hoping to get a replacement part. They sent me an entire new desk, on another truck a couple of days later. Had me sign for delivery and left. I've been waiting for them to email or call me for about 5 years now asking for the other one back.

    I use Nugen Sigmod.
That has nothing to do with noise bursts, and you're completely missing my point. When someone complains to a dev that their software almost blew their roof off, they'd do well to treat that customer well for several reasons:
1- to keep them as a customer.
2- because that bug report will help them fix this issue faster (in the case where there is an extensive report) - an issue they had no idea even existed - before more and more people start getting holes in their eardrums and leave them for another company.
Irrelevant. My comment gives a clear image of what to expect and that's what the OP was asking about.

:deep_facepalm: . And no 1 plugin will ever prevent all sources of monitor damage.

The website isn't going to grant him anything, the devs are. Are you that thick???
And I never said my monitors were damaged. I said my EARS were damaged. Learn to R.E.A.D.

If not for Foster, 34 posts would be a new record.

In my case its also very similar case - some promotion mishap or whatever would you call that :D if not a bug
So, I just used their promotion which applied in a way that it shouldn't have - their backend prob, not mine
I think I will just keep shush - if they Mail me I can just say I used your promotion that you gave me I have screenshots/proofs

Bro, exactly this is why I was worried :D
I don't wanna use those plugins on my Live project, then later botch up due to missing plugins
So, this is most practical advice - I think I can wait for few weeks - If at all they recall later - I can say I just used your promotion (which I thought actually applied the way it should've) - if that was incorrectly applied then website issue not mine
Not that I hate that company its a good company - but common it's a digital product wouldn't hurt them :D If it was a physical product, I would 100% sent it back

if you have a plugin you really do not trust, just bounce that track in place to audio before you close the project.
