    One a notebook an USB key is a no go:
    My only USB-C is occupied by power supply and the other ones are used for external SSD and midi controller, if i want to connect audio interface, then im in trouble.

    not to mention, most ilok variants decrypt into memory or on storage not to mention the extra memory usage.

    I will wait for another blessed version, havnt needed soundtoys all these years.
    There are far more elegant solutions for both user and developer than ilok and they work without hardware dongles/USB pendrives and internet.

    Thanks for the million-dollar question. I think you can install them later, and if you get a new PC or your hard drive dies, you can always reinstall your free SoundToy's plugins using the unique serial number.

    Fully possible, as long as you acquire the plugin(s) when they're free during their respective 2-day window. Just make sure they're in your account and you can activate them whenever; this goes for the serial activation and the PACE ( :suicide: ) activation method.
