The new libraries added are not displayed unless I close the DAW. Any solution?

I don't see a problem, if we're talking NI Kontakt, that's how it is. :wink:That's how it is with most plugins which use sample libraries, actually. e.g. UVI Falcon. Synths with presets generally show the new presets immediately. You'll have to learn how to live with it.

Thinking about it, I do admit it is annoying, though.

This is the answer. Kontakt doesn't load newly added libraries until you restart it. Happens when runs alone, and also when inside a DAW project as a plugin.
Yeah, and it happens with the legit version too, doesn't it?

You have to restart the Host (Daw) to reinitialize the plugin so it can register new libraries added while the host was running.

This is the kind of instance where using BlueCat's Patchwork as a standalone app to register stuff can be helpful. You can usually just re-instantiate the plugin after that, instead of reopening the DAW. It can be better than re-opening a big session.

I'm just adding that note to maybe add some value to even asking that question. It's pretty much an A or B scenario otherwise.

It would be fine, but I tried it and it doesn't work.

I wasn't talking about Kontakt specifically. Other synths were mentioned above. But actually, it is still A or B. You re-instantiate the plugin, and if that doesn't work you reload the DAW. So I'm not sure how asking here would be any faster than just doing it on your own machine to find out.

If you're on Reaper, try opening the Project Bay and toggling all Kontakt instances offline and then back online.

    E: I don't think that'll work, but worth a try.

There is a background "service" running with Kontakt.
And it may still loaded even after removing the plugin instance.

Try closing the project only, not the DAW.
