What's broken? I'm using the library in a project right now... Although only Cubase 15 is recognizing the app but C14 is not

The public one on the sister site got hit with a DMCA notice so it went down, Rutracker probably also got hit with it too.

Tbf I didn't even know that Rutracker had any BBC SO published anywhere in the forum whatsoever, so it being gone was a surprise for me

Hello. I'm using Windows 10 and Cubase 12 Pro. I followed the instructions, but it still doesn't recognize the VST3 files. They aren't in the Plugin Manager's blocklist either. Are you saying that the VST3 files were recognized in Cubase 15 when you followed the instructions

Yes. I followed the instructions and I'm using the library successfully in C15... in Vienna Ensemble Pro on my slave PC as well. But C14 doesn't see the plugin

That's what I'm suspecting hence my question...although I can't think of a reason why would that be as it works fine here and probably works for many ppl as well

I finally deleted everything (It is usable to check like a demo) however here is what i did to extract at a loss of 17GB.

Requirements (1.5 TB of ssd space) and hours of patience
    1) Combine the all .zip to a single 589 GB file using NanaZip.
    2) Then Open the single file using Winrar and Repair Archive (Tools Repair Archive), It will Create a new large 572 GB (In my Case)
    3) Then Extract the newly created repairedfile and ignore the errors.

TBH it did not sound better than the kontakt spitfire Library :dont: (Watch demo on Youtube). The difference is lots of Mic samples thats it.

    Hope this helps

I tried running it in Cubase 15 as you suggested, but it still isn't being recognized. Could you please check the file path and VST3 file information? Here is my installation path and file info: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
    The file size is 22.1MB.
I've been stuck on this for a few days and I'm really eager to use it. Thank you so much for your help.

That is the correct location for the vst3 file.

Did you put the patch.dll file in the correct location? That needs to go in your DAW's root folder; where the .exe file is located. For Cubase I believe that is C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase

Yes, as you instructed, the file is placed in C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 15 as shown in the screenshot.

    • I applied the license file by double-clicking it.

    • I saved the Spitfire Audio folder to C:\Users\(your computer username)\AppData\Roaming.

    • I also set the path in Spitfire.properties as shown in the photo.
I am using Windows 10 and Cubase 15 Pro. I'm really struggling to figure out what the problem is. Is there anything I might have missed?
