It looks like I am going to have to sell a kidney and get some UAD plugins. I'm suffering from NTS (new toy syndrome)

I'm still gonna wait, I have a feeling UAD will be the "one more thing"!

 

UAD is quite cheap these days when you can get lots of them for 29 each or 10 for 99 including many titles that are more than worth just 10 for each. Back in the day people bought super expensive cards for those plugins and payed like 99 to 299 Euro / plugin. Imagine that.

Now they seem to become a bit like Waves with constant cheap sales.

Think I accidentally uninstalled the effects upgrading to the new bundle. At least they’re all here and updated now

 

what's so special about soundtoys? Have they even released anything new? I was under the assumption they never cared to crack because they haven't really changed anything about their plugins in ages

 

Well if it isn't "the one more (or even two more) thing(s)" it won't be because it was never requested, and by a great many even here in this thread. If the witches are watching this there's no way the intentions were not conveyed on multiple levels...

I might be wrong, of course, but it is my understanding that their updates deal mostly with compatibility issues with new generation chips. I don't think they updated the DSP which was already amazing to begin with.

 

Don't forget the update to resizable GUIs.... but actually they keep a running changelog of sorts: www.soundtoys.com/release-log
It isn't all that exciting, mostly bugfixes and the OS/cpu stuff you mention.

 

Soundtoys has some new plugins since the last time they got cracked:
Spaceblender 9/10 for me
LittlePlate and SuperPlate 10/10
Echoboy Jr - don’t own this one, but personally I was never a fan of Echoboy senior.

 

And IIRC the Sie-Q wasn't in the AutioUtopia release.

 

UAD just dropped another seriously good plugin, I've been demoing it since last night. Cmon R2R!
Full amp suite, with all their amps and cabs, and a bunch of pedals as well. And yes, they all sound incredible, the pedals too.

 

This is new? Ok this definitely should be given more attention, I’ve got a fresh new set of guitars and bass waiting for universal audio effects!
