    Hi everyone,

I wanna get the guitar tone here or at least a very close sound

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWo3v74OJ6U

And why not modelling an acoustic guitar like here?

I think this is Ample AGM (that it modelled), AGM still sounds good but i couldn't hear until now the sound (as an example) while pick is hitting to the strings from any VST guitar. Or i am wrong, is there a software that could modelled this? If even it hasn't been done until now, i think it is possible because i can trigger this sound from my keyboard (by cutting from the video). Because it comes from a digital source of course.

BTW i don't have a real electric guitar i have VST plug-ins only and sometimes i have problem with getting good and realistic guitar sounds.

Please help me about these, i hope i could explain what i mean

Which effects can be used for classic or acoustic guitars in order to get more relistic sounds? And can you share your setups please?

Thank you for the reply. I wish some people shared their setups (inst and effects settings). Do you think it is possible to get sounds with VST plug-ins like in the videos?

Now this screenshot is not an attempt to emulate that Therion sound. But if you rifle thru IR's and combinations of 2 IR's,I'm sure you can get kinda close to the tone

This particular sound is pretty mean though. I use the delay for leads.(Why it's turned off,I just scroll thru the presets)
I set the pitchbend at 12 because otherwise FL wont set it to +2/-2 and I tune down sometimes
(Pitch coarse -3 or -4 sometimes, remember have to transpose in your head or find that key to match with other parts or play in a different key,get nice low stuff like that though)Also I often just play root and 5th chords,so 1&5,on a guitar is 1,5,& 8 for power chords, you could do that too to thicken chords.

This is just one example of how to get a good metal tone.(I've seen others do cool things with Shreddage 2,and V-Metal)
Also could use any amp plugin and IR loader really. GR5 w/Reflektor,Amplitube,many others.(Not listing em all again  )
Also just the presets Demon shared for Guitar Rig would work as well, the Black Metal category may have something close too.

(Need to set my snap back to line too, just noticed that)

    Hope that helps

As you can see it requires a bit of work... It's also the playing that's definitive (or the MIDI programming in this case). I don't think you have many shortcuts. Try different fx, amps, mics etc. Pick a preset from the simulator that resembles what you're after and tweak to death. Here's my result with the example chain above:

Not ultra amazing but you get the idea.

Thank you for the reply and suggestions. Can you share .flp file too? Because it is a bit hard to apply steps by looking from the image. You can send me the file via pm too.
