Cedar is one that would make me sad to see released. I have a lot of time for Gordon, I've known him since the 90s and he has put is life into Cedar

 

I doubt any major VSL libraries will be released. Given the high price and its almost exclusively professional use, I don't think pros working in the industry will install cracked software. Just like what happened with Ivory 3 libraries

 

Haha, you didn't hear about Luca Pretolesi did you?

Apparently well known in the electronic world and a big user/associate of Acustica Audio plugins but in one walkthrough you could see he had an R2R email in his licence details!

 

There are plenty of pros who use cracked wares. Id say the majority of people i know in the industry use cracks someway or the other. Source - im a "pro", and work with many other pros.

 

it's naive to think so, they relied heavily on ilok, anyone could take the entire full range assortment on trial - at least 2 times this year. I've taken full Synchron Pianos, BBO, SSO, Duality Strings, and more... and that's just one account... I'm already working on sharing and downloading content, and when the piano player comes out, I'll be working on creating licenses.

i was thinking the same. pretty sure i read that they were asking for vsl libraries or something like that before black friday in order to share more stuff...

so i would say that we are not done yet

 

No, we're definitely not done yet. I'm curious to see if there are people here who will share the VSL library... I think VSL has a 14-day return policy.

Why would you be sad to see it released? Are you saying you equate piracy to lost sales?

 

yes, I've been working on this from the very beginning and I'm not going to stop, my efforts were noticeable 7 months ago, when there was no question that VSL would be cracked, someone probably remembers these ridiculous versions of Kontakt libraries, yes, they are problematic, but still, to do it is it's better than doing nothing, I'm such a person, I signed up for this adventure with zero knowledge))))
Of course, I'm not justifying myself)
