Not sure how much difference Multiband sidechain will do in a track? Pls pay wisely

Btw, I have Shaperbox/Volumeshaper - it also has multiband sidechain (tho I don't use mb feature)

I don't know how this Vengeance plugin works, but will just point out that Fabfilter Pro-MB is a multiband compressor that let's you sidechain each band. I don't think you can set up different sources for the sidechain (not sure you can in the Vengeance one either, but multiple instances with either app should take care of that, if it's an actual need for some reason), but you can set up multiple bands, any way you like, plus the sidechain signal can be set to a specific frequency range, if that floats your boat. It looks like maybe you just get a "low" and a "high" band in the Vengeance plugin, so less versatile in that particular sense, but I don't know what other magic it might do that perhaps Pro-MB doesn't.

Of course Fabfilter is more expensive, but I'll just mention it's on BF sale too (but still like $50 more), and of course is plugin suite that like everyone uses. And, if you don't care about legit, of course it's on the sister site.

I have not tried this plugin, so be that what it may. But I would pick Nicky Romero Kickstart or Devious Machines Duck over LFO Tool any day of the week as my enveloper. Devious Machines Duck probably before most others. If I am using a compressor sidechained, I always use Fabfilter Pro-C2. It has a sidechain filter you can use to determine which portions of the sidechain signal the compressor reacts to. It is as close to transparent as any other compressor you are going to find. You can set the ratio to Infinity if you want, which is really helpful because when you can't lower the attack time any more, trying to get the compressor to begin reacting faster, you can use the up to inifinty ratio compression to get it clamping down even faster. Then dial it back.

I'd try the Vengeance one if free or if was cracked, just to test it. I'm not throwing money at a problem that is already so easy to solve (and isn't one in the first place).

Try Cableguys VolumeShaper, see do you have any use for it or not, Vengeance was only thing back then regarding multi band sidechain, kinda lives on that old glory price vise.

I guess you should be able to recreate it yourself in most DAWs. By doing that, you should be able to evaluate whether you actually need a multiband sidechain plugin. Personally I think it is more a gimmick than something you will actually use regularly.
The functionality to only apply the sidechaining to different parts of the frequency spectrum sure is something that is useful but that is something normal sidechain plugins do as well already. It could be used as a creative effect, but I don't think it is something that is needed as you can split the frequencies in every daw and apply your existing sidechain plugin aferwards.
For me it would be something, that I don't need to use a lot and I wouldn't pay 50 bucks for it.

In my opinion, for sidechain, going multi-band is counterproductive if you want pump. You take away from the impact of the effect w/ m-band. I'd go full-band for pump, and spectral if you want unmasking instead.

Which DAW do you use? For Logic Pro, I could describe you the way to bandpass a signal before or after the aux-send/return (which can serve as sidechain input later). It's all feasible without any additional 3rd-party plugins needed.
