I think there's been some misunderstanding.

It's not necessary to pay $600 to generate or use the plugins. For that, it costs $9/month, or you can buy individual credit packages if you want.

The one-time fee of $600 is only for those who want the plugins displayed with their company and who want to SELL or market the generated plugins in any way, whether they are "good or crappy" to their ears.

With $300 you cannot sell UAD plugins.

How did it go... the way to make money off a gold rush is not to dig for gold but to sell shovels.

I really like SynthEdit; it's an incredible tool. I started developing some things with it, also in Pure Data and MaxDSP.

The problem is always the incompatibility between operating systems and also the "halfway point," because after creating the plugins, it's still necessary to create a GUI. There's also a very tedious part to creating installers and software signing (where there's an annual cost paid to Microsoft and Apple).

That's when I started developing our own plugins, available at www.audiofb.com/plugins if you're interested.

CubeSoundLab is just a tool that facilitates the creative process for those who don't know how to code or don't want to spend time learning how to do it. Developing this entire platform (back-end and front-end) with an online DAW, plugin creator, multi-platform installer creator, track separator, mix assistant, and other things was definitely not an easy "toy" to build alone.

I visited your website, wow, you're really hard at work! You can also be found on KVR: /www.kvraudio.com/developer/audiofb

Regarding CubeSoundLab: You rise to the challenge—someone has to do it, and that was you!
You did a great job, so you should definitely promote it. What's the quality of the plugins you've created?

And what's the added value of creating your own, since there are already so many free plugins on the market?
Tell me, what's the response to your product been like elsewhere? Is there actually a demand, a market gap?

It's great that you told us a little about yourself and your work.

I installed your KIA Synth back then, but somehow it disappeared from the KIA website. Was it a commissioned project?

Thank you for visiting the site! There are some free plugins there, feel free to download and test them.

I used the AudioFB plugin database for AI training, so much of the audio processing quality comes from the same source.

After 15 years working with mixing and mastering all types of audio (music, film, advertising), I believe that mixers seek practicality, and sometimes it doesn't seem practical to chain 3, 4, or 5 plugins together for a result... The idea behind CubeSoundLab was to make life easier for those who are mixing or producing and suddenly think "I'd like a radio effect in a small room" or "I want a distorted reverb in the high frequencies," then they can simply go to the site, type a prompt, and generate a plugin that solves the problem.

I launched it this week, so I'm still figuring out how people are receiving it, but overall it's been a positive response, especially because of the other features available.

Regarding the KIA Instrument plugin, yes, it was a commissioned development project, as was the MudKiller plugin and the Coke SoundZ instrument.

The problem with this is how to describe what you want to do? How would I describe to create a plugin that dumps the banks of my D50 in sysex format to a specific location on my SSD using specific midi ports?

But besides that? Why would we want something like this?

Why would we want AI to create a plugin for us to just mimic every setting we maybe perform each day but with very subtle changes? Why not just store it as a preset and work from there? What is actually the added value of an AI plugin?

Currently we're only dealing with audio effect plugins; what you're describing seems to be something far beyond that. :D

But as I replied before, as a mixer and mastering engineer, I sometimes need to chain 3 or more plugins on a channel to get a result, or watch some YouTube videos to see if a famous plugin does what I expect. And that doesn't seem very practical and can sometimes be expensive... So in MY WORKFLOW and that of many people, this tool helps.

How many plugins do you need to, for example, have a reverb divided into frequency bands? Or a specific type of distortion that only acts on the peaks on the sides? Or a Baxandall equalizer with a soft clipper? Or anything else you consider interesting...

While the world rages that AI mixes and masters on its own, we are simply offering you the possibility of building your tool without needing to know how to code.

A tool like this helps if you want quick prototypes without touching any code, you can sketch an idea, test it in a DAW, and see if the concept is worth developing further. The limitation is that you only get effect plugins and a fixed control layout, so it works best for simple utilities, custom filters, or small workflow tools.

Kilohearts has some very good tools, including Multipass, but I think they are completely different approaches. Different features for different applications.

I am waiting for the A.I. to do a "Create your own replacement developer".
At this rate they are going to make themselves obsolete. A.I. is getting more advanced at a lightning speed rate and any existing developer if it continues will become the equivalent of a janitor or mechanic and only be required to clean up. It's impressive how advanced they are becoming but it seems like a speeding car that nobody had the foresight to put in a brake system before they took it for a drive.

I don't doubt your products ability or what its capabilites are.

I think the issue with your business model is that the marketplace is already drowning with plugins, and everything has already been made.

Effects with specific sounds, such as different types of compressors like tube, VCA, or multiband compressors, or different types of distortion like fuzz, overdrive, or dedicated effects like exciters, de-essers... Or different types of reverb rooms?

I know that by chaining together several snap-ins with some filters you can reproduce anything, but our idea is to give you a ready-made plugin according to what you're thinking and not make you chain together several things manually. Therefore, I'm not saying it's a better or worse tool, but it's different, but the purpose is different.

Furthermore, as far as I know, you can't separate stems, there's no A/B comparison assistant, a DAW to use directly in the browser, or a music generator.

Yes, I agree with you. With AudioFB, I'm keeping up with the saturation in this market. The difference is that we're not offering YET ANOTHER plugin that we like or that works for us, but rather the possibility for you to create the ones that work for you.
