Updating my Omnisphere folder and noticing that the .db files in the “Core Library” folder in the soundsource folder say they’re 0 kilobytes, while there is a new folder known as “Core Soundsources” that’s 56 gigabytes, did the upgrade from 2 to 3 move all the factory sample contents to the new soundsource folder and is it okay to replace the old “Core Library” folder that’s also 56 gigabytes with the updated “blank” one from my Omnisphere 3 library? Things seemed to work just browsing patches with a copy of everything I made to make sure the new library worked but I didn’t know if the update just moved everything from the sample database to the new folder and I can overwrite with what looks like a blank copy where the .db files are 0 kilobytes?

 

Every other folder is normal, just the soundsource folder seems off, the rest have either unchanged or updated files and the Core Soundspurces folder is about the same size like the update advertised, not sure if the way they updated everything was just moving the samples from the previous folder to a new one made for Omnisphere 3

 

I was already planning to dive through the samples in the editor but I have to wait a bit so hopefully in an hour a solution can pop up here while I’m waiting watching football
