Heard about Mr. Liquid by Darkware but I haven’t had any luck getting it to work, it throws me synthedit error when I try to even get it to run in windows 11, do I need synthedit for these kinds of plugins to work? Wondering if there might be another solution because I’d like to try this relic of an effect plugin… None of the other Darkware plugins worked either, they give errors when scanned and might either hang the bitwig sandbox or just fail to load, surely if one can be fixed up the others will too?

What's the plugin's date? You can find the date either in the *.dll file or the setup.exe.

These ancient plugins aren't suitable for modern DAWs, and certainly not for Bitwig.
You can use them if you have an older 32-bit DAW.

SynthEdit is the engine the plugin was programmed with. https://www.synthedit.com

If it's a VST you can just wrap it with jbridge - that should make it play nicely with Bitwig.

I could try jbridge, Bitwig can actually load 32 bit plugins since I have some installed but it seems like the ones made in synthedit seem to fail for me
