im trying to find a vst where i can load wav. samples and auto chop them just like the vst called fruity slicer. can anybody help please??

Might help if you tell us which daw you are using?

You can slice a wav in most nowadays i believe or look at geist from fxpansion or recycle to make rex files from wav's that you can load into most daws.

You could try Izotope PHATMATIK Pro... But i dont know exactly how to use it in FL and you can't use MP3's in Phatmatik.. will slicex work in version 10 ?

 

Geist or use the FL plug as a VST in another DAW. My preference is Geist though.

Very simple to do this in Ableton. Load a loop into a audio clip. Right click loop and select slice to midi track. You are given the option to slice the loop in several different ways. If it is a drum loop, slicing by transients is your best bet. Ableton will then slice each section into a drum rack. Open the drum racks to view each simpler. In simpler you effect the pitch with the transpose parameter. Since you say you know how to slice in simpler, I am assuming you just needed to know how to effect the pitch of the slice with the transpose parameter. If this is not your answer please clarify what else you need to do. I was a FL studio user from about 02-06 and then switched to Ableton. I am quite positive you can do whatever you need to do with slicing and audio manipulation all within Ableton.

 

Geist runs laps around these drum sampling plugins. To think that it's relatively old. Fxpansion HAS to make a Geist 2.

 

Also, if you are a Suite owner or own Sampler, right click the heading bar of Simpler and hit the Simpler->Sampler option to replace simpler with sampler, in Sampler you can change pitch with the root key option which indicates key notes.
