Alternatively, find someone to launch a class action suit. Wait 10 years. Cash your $2 check.

step 1 is correct, step 2 is being told off for wasting their time (even if they're getting paid for it) as the users of the service are actually the website hosters, and they're bound by terms & conditions which determine the maximum award from any disagreement is the same or less than the lawyers hourly fee

You're forgetting the important step: solve the recaptcha on the law firm's contact form.

Like others have already mentioned the only time I get recaptcha's that loop and don't resolve is when using certain vpn's that have likely been ip flagged, rest of the time there's none on the sister site when I login and only one on any of the file hosting sites, zero issues on any other site. Main browsers are Brave and Firefox with the usual addons and I always use seperate profiles for different activities, I haven't seen ads on the internet for well over a decade and all recap's resolve in seconds.

I've recommended brave (desktop and mobile) to various non-tech savvy people I know around the world and no one has had any issues at all.

What you described would be completely unacceptable to me, so I really hope you find a solution.

    shot 01.png shot 02.png

there is no way this is compliant with service inclusivity for disabled people and freedom of internet access according to EU laws

@tzzsmk: You know that if you open an account on sister site, you don't have any captchas, right? Problem solved.

For the rest of the internet, do exactly like @ChiQuita : remove Javascript with an ad or a script blocker: yes for some site it will be impossible, but for other sites (like DDL sites) it will make your life far easier.

Other measure: I don't know why people want absolutely to keep their cookies between sessions. I'm lazy, but I don't mind each time I launch my session, to login again manually on my favorite sites. Firefox, for example, have a very great password manager, it types the logins and passwords for you, you just have to click on "login" and it's OK!

Conclusion: set your browser so that each time you quit it, it erases completely cache and cookies. This way, each time, you start with a fresh session. It stops sites - like SN - to spy on your surfing history, etc. (it's what FB, TT, Insta, YT, X and/or any other Social Network do: they spy on your surfing habits, so that they can spit 'personalized' (LOL) ads and content on your face each time they see you... I do hate SN because of that!)

You still deal with them when using the "services". Which is why I avoid using the "services" provided by AZ unless absolutely necessary or a real link to a service that plays fair is floated (rarely).

They can try and track you all they want on a vpn but the end result is moot. Firefox is really the only browser I know of that has the logoff cookie nuker built in. Which is why I use FF for most all surfing.

You'll be quite displeased to know that they do have compliant solutions for those with disabilities.

Didn't take long to find, but I can't blame you if you're that averse to Google's services.

    TL;DR;
One thing I know is when you do multiple captchas in a relatively short time they increase the difficulty. But if memory serves they do it by adding noise (grain like) to the images, and this doesn't seem the @OPs case.

During some months several years ago I did find some over-difficult ones. But not anymore. Probably because the AIs are getting better. Which is some pretty disturbing shit if you ask me but well, shit happens

Everyone who thinks this is funny, why are you okay with an American company exploiting you for free work? Because that's what's happening. I don't understand why people are completely fine with this. It's an obnoxious waste of everyone's time and Google profits are in the billions from it. Google executives are laughing more than you are, that's for sure.

And before some genius decides to tell me it's optional and you can just quit, there are millions of people clicking through these exploitation puzzles at their job, no they don't have a choice.

I suffer with captchas but i know it's 100% due my internet conection; It's IPv4 with CGNAT so if someone with the same address of mine starts bot scrapping i know the captchas will go crazy. But in my experience VPN captchas are the wildest ones.

That lawsuit was in January 2015 when recaptcha was just two distorted words. That was quick and simple and was actually helpful for translating digital books. That was around the time when the image-based hell had just begun, people weren't wasting 20-30 minutes a day with it. And Google has since turned it into a multi-billion dollar data mining scam.

Google is not forcing anyone to use their services and if any other site uses reCAPTCHA, it's entirely up to its providers. Also, there are various alternatives: hCaptcha, mCaptcha, Turnstile, ALTCHA, etc.

Sorry if anyone has already suggested this, but have you tried searching for the answer on Google?

Ok. I'll be serious for once

When you get the display that has one giant picture, click on any two windows until you get individual pictures. (could take a couple of goes.)

Once there, it is usually a case of clicking on three correct windows (of a car or something.)

If however, you get the 'keep going until all the images of the car is gone, do so, but be careful not to click on one where the car is in the background. That is where the problems arise.

[Broken record] Click the button for audio captchas as soon as your connection gets flagged and you're being forced to solve challenges.

    hCaptcha is much worse imo.
