I'm currently updating my sound banks for Arturia. Before upgrading to the newest Analog Lab, KB, Augmented, Pigments, LoFi, and Synth V for CE/VR I had over 60k sounds in Analog Lab. I deleted the Arturia Bundle and reinstalled and I had 56k sounds. I looked in control panel and went to programs. For some reason the sound updated from 2025.8, 2025.9, and 2025.10 are not saving when you install them. Does anyone know why this happened?

I also see only the 2025.5 & 2025.7 updates in Programs & Features.
    But I have 60,717 presets.
I began with the Sound Banks Bundles from 2025.05.01 (Which are the 4 bundles labeled "2025.4") then updates 2025.5, 2025.7, 2025.8, 2025.9, 2025.10 as you did.

As far as I remember, some of the presets were pretty messy showing presets two or three times... Could it be that some duplicates are missing?

Also, without wanting to derail your thread, when updating to the newest versions, did you uninstall the old ones before or just installed the new versions on top of the existing ones? Thanks in advance for your reply!

Yes I uninstalled all Arturia programs and reinstalled with the updated versions. This is the first time something like this has happened.

Did you install the updated Analog Lab 5.12.1 CE/VR? I know its supposed to be over 60k. I got 56k. I just reinstalled again and I got 39,641! I don't know what's happening. ☹️

Perhaps, rebuilding the preset database will help. Give it a try if you haven't tried it already.

To update the preset index you need to delete a specific temp file called "db.db3".
    MAC: /Library/Arturia/Presets
    WIN: C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Presets

If you have not enabled the display of hidden folders please go to your file explorer -> display -> check "show hidden folders"

Alternatively, you should be also able to directly copy/paste the path indicated above in your Windows File browser address bar.

Once this file is deleted, the preset list will be updated on software opening.

Import is Successful but Banks Not Showing

make sure to run the DAW as Admin because it needs Admin permission to write new database file (db.db3) in the ProgramData folder.

    1- Close your DAW.
2- Delete a temporary file called "db.db3" in the folder (for Windows)
    "C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Presets".
3- Restart your DAW and re-open your VST instrument. The new presets will show from now now.

You will see them all listed and tagged.

    For some reason
I deleted the "db.db3" file. When I opened Analog Lab it said 0 presents then slowly it went up to 39k sounds. In the sound bank picture I attached in the first post on the thread 2025.8, 2025.9, and 2025.10 are not showing up as installed. That's why I don't have over 60k sounds.

Yes I installed updated Analog Lab v5.12.1 over all the other updates (I began with v5.11.2).
I also edited my first reply for correction, although it changes nothing really.

Did you make sure to run it as admin, as @PulseWave suggested?

I would try the following: uninstall, delete the entire directory, reinstall, then open Analog Lab, close it, install the first update, open Analog Lab, scan, close it, then install the next update, open Analog Lab, scan, close it again, and repeat this process for all updates.
It sounds frustrating to lose access to those extra presets after a fresh install—Analog Lab's library is massive, and dropping 4k+ sounds can throw off your workflow big time. Based on common issues reported with Arturia's ecosystem (especially around V Collection updates and the Software Center), here's what likely happened and how to fix it.

    Why This Might Have Occurred
    • Incomplete Sound Bank Sync in Analog Lab: The 2025.8, 2025.9, and 2025.10 updates primarily add presets for newer emulations (e.g., expansions to Pigments, Augmented, or V Collection instruments like the 1975 or Solina updates). When you reinstalled the bundle, Analog Lab rescans and indexes only the installed content. If those specific update packs didn't fully extract or register during the bundle install, they won't show up in the preset count. This is a known quirk—Arturia's installer sometimes skips "delta" updates (incremental sound banks) if there's a hiccup in the Software Center (ASC) cache or permissions.
    • Bundle Reinstall Overwrites Without Merging: Deleting and reinstalling the full bundle resets the preset database but doesn't always pull in post-bundle update files automatically. Those 2025.x packs are often delivered as separate downloads via ASC, and if they weren't explicitly reinstalled after the bundle, Analog Lab treats your library as "base 2025" without the extras. User reports on forums like Gearspace and Reddit's r/arturia spike around major updates like this, pointing to ASC not flagging the packs as "essential" during bundle restores.
    • Other Potential Culprits:
      • Permissions/File Paths: On Windows (assuming from "control panel"), UAC or antivirus can block sound bank writes to C:\Program Files\Arturia\Sound Banks. macOS equivalents (if applicable) hit similar snags with SIP.
      • Licensing Glitch: If your iLok or Arturia account sync failed mid-install, the updates might install but not activate, leading to a partial library.
      • Version Mismatch: Ensure your Analog Lab is on 5.6+ (as of late 2025), since older versions cap at ~55k presets without the full V Collection integration.
Quick Fixes to Get Back to 60k+
    1. Reinstall Updates via Arturia Software Center (ASC):
      • Open ASC (download fresh from arturia.com if needed).
      • Go to "My Products" > Select your bundle > Check for updates. Manually trigger downloads for 2025.8–10.0 (they're ~2–5GB each, so grab 'em one at a time).
      • After install, launch Analog Lab > Preferences > Rescan Library (or hit the preset menu's "Refresh Database"). This should bump you back up—users report regaining 3–6k sounds this way.
    2. Verify Installation Paths:
      • In Windows Control Panel > Programs, right-click each Arturia app (Analog Lab, Pigments, etc.) > Change > Repair. Focus on the sound bank folders.
      • Check C:\Users\[YourName]\Documents\Arturia\Preset Banks and C:\Program Files\Common Files\Arturia\Sound Banks for the 2025.x folders. If missing, redownload from ASC.
    3. Full Library Rebuild:
      • In Analog Lab: File > Library Manager > Rebuild Index. Close/reopen the app.
      • If still short, export your custom banks (to avoid losing them) and do a clean wipe: Uninstall via Control Panel, delete leftover folders (e.g., %APPDATA%\Arturia), then reinstall bundle + updates.
    4. Test in Standalone Mode:
      • Run Pigments/ Augmented/ Synth V standalone (not in DAW) and load a 2025.x preset. If it works but doesn't show in Analog Lab, it's an indexing issue—rescan fixes it 90% of the time.
If this doesn't resolve it, hit up Arturia support directly (support.arturia.com)—submit a ticket with your ASC logs (found in Help > Export Logs) and preset count screenshots. They've been quick on bundle glitches lately, especially post-2025 fall updates. In the meantime, if you're on V Collection 10+, the missing packs are mostly tonal expansions (e.g., more lo-fi dust in LoFi, VR/ CE-specific reverbs), so your core 56k should hold you over.

Let me know how the rescan goes or if you need steps for a specific OS!
