It's slowly becoming time for an "I want UAD from R2R" tattoo or maybe a T-shirt, posters, or TV commercial would be better.

 

Ok so the radio silence broken. Some cool piano stuff, but I'm assuming R2R know their suggestions were implying something more.. So what are we thinking? Was that a little tease? Do you think they've had some delays?

Was Synthogy the gong? Still holding out for VSL? UAD beggars deleted their accounts?

(This isn't me projecting, I'm genuinely curious to see what you guys are thinking based on the latest NFOs from today's releases)

 

I like a few of UAD plugin and I bought them really cheap in promotion time (distressor or studer tape), the rest mixing vst can be find in really good quality in many other brands. I bought other classics like 1176, pultec, api, ssl,... and I want to sell them now^^ There are not the most pleasant tools to work with ... I feel Softube is providing much better mixing tools.
The synths are really good, by exemple polymax (was free for a time and will be very cheap anytime). I would like to see the last anthem analog, alreary tried it and it's pretty efficient (but of course there is plenty of good sounding synth out there ;)

The NFO has a tease in German, so that could be referring to VSL (Austrian company) or Orchestral Tools (German company). My bets are on VSL though

 

Regarding today's release: We're happy that Team R2R is still alive and cracking things. They're not the monster they're cracking, though; maybe someone was sick, or the copy protection was more difficult than they thought. R2R are just people like you and me, even though they're treated like gods. I'm pretty sure we'll be hearing more from them. After all, a cracker wants to prove to themselves and the world (a challenge) that they're capable of circumventing even the most sophisticated copy protection!

 

Everyone knows that if you don't use UAD plugins, the average listener will hear your song and immediately think " wow, what a terrible mix, it sounds like they didn't even use UAD", and immediately skip your song, and block you on social media.

 

OMG!! Are you telling me that R2R ported Heidi Klum to VST3? Witchy shit indeed!

To be fair, there's unique plugins to UA like Motown & Capitol chambers, their GUI's are super clean, they have some pretty authentic sounding instruments like Minimoog and Waterfall B3, the Galaxy Echo Tape is my favorite of all of the 201 emulations, their console emulations (SSL 4000, LUNA API) are good and their channel strips like Topline Vocal Suite are really user friendly. Comparing companies and what plug-ins they offer isn't always apples to apples.

 

I see comments here saying Synthology which is a UVI product while this is Synthogy a different one, good or bad piano library? Who cares! It's about the game and challenge, defeating a hard protection is an achievement by itself and opens doors for bigger things, for that thank R2R even though I'm done with Pianoteq which is more than enough for me as a modern non Cinematic/Orchestral music producer, that said ,i believe we seen Ivory before as Kontakt libraries or VSTi back in 2016 i believe so i think this is not the end of this gong, it's just the beginning, why people lost patience and faith, as simple it might look! This Ivory is a huge challenge it seems and better things are yet to come.

 

So presumably a few more weeks to wait until the big release on/around Black Friday?

 

R2R just dropped Omnisphere 3, the gong is getting louder

A quick recap guys:
R2R has kept his word as always, immortalizing his generous and dear heart, releasing one of the most important and protected software in the iLok line (the same protection as UA, Pro Tools, Liquidsonics, McDSP, etc), we have official confirmation that our heroes are working on an unforgettable Gong of "enormous" proportions for Black Friday. (Ivory is one of the most prestigious and super protected software, that alone is enough to make everyone who understands and works with music happy, so thank you from the bottom of my heart, R2R).
Anyway, guys, if you want many more prestigious gifts for Black Friday from R2R, let's all start together by giving them a hand, because they can't buy products worth tens and tens of thousands of bucks. Meanwhile, anyone who is able to share and/or purchase the Synthogy libraries, organize to be able to share them. I personally am already taking action. Also, if possible, let me know if the original licenses for many of the most popular iLok products, including some of the most sought-after, would be useful to R2R. Let's help R2R out, so we can have a top-notch Black Friday, with the most requested and sought-after iLok products, and maybe, if we're lucky, we might even get some of the most coveted ones, including UA, Pro Tools, Liquidsonics, etc. Come on guys, have faith in R2R, and let's all help them together.

 

Awesome release R2R! It seems like just the beginning, as we just got Omnisphere 3 R2R as well. Can't wait to see what comes from now to Black Friday.

 

Guys have faith, do you guys remember early this year when R2R announced they will be absent for few months because they are rebuilding everything from the ground up, and we waited because we believe in them, and then they started releasing some stuff that maybe are not necessarily tied to their new system (easier protection perhaps), but the R2RSystem as they call it is yet to come, what i understand from that is that bigger surprises are coming maybe iLok 3 or protection systems that were seen as impossible to defeat !!! They mentioned "Long term reliable", bro this mean they're not joking around and what's coming is meant to set an earthquake in the music industry...
