    Hi friends!

I have a question about how to correctly install these VST3 for use in Ableton Live 12 on Win11. I have downloaded:

    -NeuralAmpModeler-v0.7.13-win-pdbs
    -NeuralAmpModeler-v0.7.13-win
    -Proteus-Win-1.2.0
-PastToFutureReverbs Converter Plugin Extension For Proteus and NAM (AU, VST3, AAX), which contains a .json and .nam files inside the archive.

Are these all the files I need to install or am I missing something else?

Do i need both Nam and Proteus or only one of them, which is best for the purpose of using it on the master channel for processing a mix?

What are the steps to correctly install these files and how to load the extension file?

I have read that there was a problem with it being only mono and not stereo in Ableton Live, but it was an old thread at another forum so maybe this has been fixed? If not fixed, then how to setup for a true stereo processing chain in Ableton Live 12?

I hope someone can help me simplify this installation so I do it correctly the first time and can finally test to see if this is something useful for my mixes.

    Thank you!

If I may offer a better solution: Install Tonocracy, it went freeware. No other free NAM player comes close to it's functionality. Ignore anything pasttofuturereverbs. Their captures are garbage. The free captures available from Tonocracy user patch sharing within the plugin alone will keep you busy for weeks. If you want a selection of quality outboard captures for free they can be found at tone3000.com, which is the main open source community dump that many engineers have contributed to.

Why yes you certainly may! I am new to the whole Nam thing and definitely open to suggestions before I waste time trying these. I would like to try some of those vintage samplers and mixing boards that have famous coloring for house music mixes I make (akai, roland, mackie, soundcraft mostly). Does this tone3000 have any of this? or is it all guitar amps cabinets and stuff :dunno:

"Outboard" collectively refers to basically anything not an amp or cab for this purpose. tone3000 has tons of it. Tonocracy has a bunch of it. Tonocracy will be the easiest start with, since you dl the user captures from the plugin... it is conveniently stored right there. But tone3000 will be easier to explicitly find the preamp, channel strip, tape machine etc captures.

Routing is modular. Split the signal.
