    ...and this.....

Bobby Womack - I Wish He Didn't Trust Me So Much

The great DJ Robbie Vincent had a great Sunday night show on BBC Radio 1 where he'd play all this kind of stuff. I used to record the whole show on a VHS Hi-Fi Recorder and then edit the songs onto cassette.

Still listening as I write... Kind of picks up around 6:25, which I like... appreciate having my mind/expectations/notions occasionally stretched a bit (ideally, druglessly and when in the mood haha)...

...22:47 very nice, what's the song there? Edit: Found it:

Usually, in general, one has to sift a bit to get the gold. It's not usually lying right there under one's nose like at a jewelry store.

This musical genre draws from a diverse array of influences, combining elements from various cultures and musical traditions to form new, often unexpected sounds. Fusion music is characterized by its diversity, creativity, and ability to bridge the gap between disparate musical worlds.

    Characteristics of Fusion Music
    1. Diversity: Fusion music incorporates elements from different musical genres and cultures. For instance, it may merge jazz with rock, classical with electronic music, or traditional folk with contemporary pop.
    2. Innovation: The genre is marked by its experimental nature and emphasis on innovation. Fusion music often breaks conventional rules and explores new soundscapes, encouraging musicians to think outside the box.
    3. Instrumental Variety: A hallmark of fusion music is the use of a wide range of instruments. Traditional instruments are often paired with modern ones, creating intriguing and eclectic sound combinations.

    ~ StarDaze's 'Fart Fusion', Upcoming Album ~

    Transpose one across the keyboard.
Take one or three separate ones and do a 'Paul Stretch, Myth or Synplant synth' on one for maybe a pad; a transient-shaper on another for a bass drum, etc.; and for the third, maybe merge it for a new sound with AI and your singing, so, basically, almost as though you're singing out of your butt.

Let us know of your progress with examples.
