You're trying to replace one plugin, with only one other plugin. That can be difficult. You could make a nice channel strip in Patchwork and save it as a SDD-3000 approximation. You ever watch the Michael Brauer Brauerize video?

I'm having more fun anticipating it than I will actually using it.

 

Chaining for emulating yourself a piece of gear is hard if you don't know the gear. But i will always mention that the way Michael Brauer mixes ITB made really not relly on emulations, instead, emulate myself using plugins as building blocks.

 

why do that when I can save cpu and just run a single plugin? also I like knowing that it is a licensed korg plugin as well. And the only one too outside of korg's own plugins! That specific delay is a piece of music history. I could get close, sure I can always get close. But the official version is still the best. And assuming r2r cracks DSP somehow too, I can run as many as I need on my UAD interface without wasting my own PC CPU.

 

But you could probably fire up the UAD version as a demo and do a little side-by-side of them, no? He didn't really cover it all that much in the video, but he did metion at one point he had Fernando in the other room when they were still at the physical studio; and he did one device at a time and had to keep bringing them back for approval before putting them into that template. iirc.

I'm not sure that would necessarily happen at such length for a delay like this. UAD version is $49.00 right now.

I seem to remember you have mentioned this already. Like 10 times. What interface or satellite do you have that you can run "as many as you need"?

 

Because Halloween season is the 31st October and possibly a couple of days before. Nobody thinks it goes beyond 31st October just like nobody believes Christmas goes beyond 25th December.

Watched Weapons last week, good fun movie. Also watched the stop-motion short The Bones (2021) a couple of hours ago, very interesting.

 

I don't use mine because it scares me with its feedback. Once it kicks in, if I don't have the screen open, the loop turns nasty and blows my ears off... And it uses a lot of Sharc CPU and I only have a Twin... Awesome sounding plugin though.
