There's really no reason for it to run any different than on 10

Studio One works very reliably in Windows 11. It's more likely Windows 11 itself is causing problems, so you'll have to get involved and configure Windows correctly yourself. If you're switching to Windows 11, use this program first: O&O ShutUp10++: Free antispy tool for Windows 10 and 11 https://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10 In reality, Windows 11 works perfectly and without problems once you have configured it correctly.

I run a legit Studio One 7 pro on a windows 11 pro 25H2 running pretty smooth for me the only crash I had once was running a plugin the new MPC 3.6 desktop software other than that it only happened once and then it started to work normally.

Im running win 10 22H2 up to date ,
on a Lenova Thinkcentre, i5 core , sse4.2 -but no TPM and Secure Boot.
    Old but good.

Now I´m considering switching to win 11.
Guess I have to patch Registry , AFAIK.

Will win 11 recognise my very old audiodrivers (M-audio) ?

    -Any recommendations / experience with "Win11-modded" versions , especially for DAW-machines ?

Is there "trouble ahead" ..with installing software from our beloved sister ?
As I understand it, auhorization of SW is mostly or always interaction with OS.

better than it did on WinXP!

In all honesty, I've never had a problem on Win10 or 11.
Runs like a freakin' dream TBH.

Running perfect here W11-24H2 V7 legit, recording, sequencing and exporting full projects. Only have some issues with Steinberg scene releases that freeze for a moment when, maybe call to Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022

I get the Presonus login screen, Studio One v7.2.3 R2R, but it works well so far. How do I get rid of that login screen every time it starts? I have Magic installed and Renew works. All fine otherwise...

Occasional crashes cause only by VST's. But the next time they run fine.

I have Windows 11 and from version 7 onwards often when I export stems or a wave file it crashes, maybe because I have a PC that is 12 years old but before with versions 6 I didn't have this problem.

The registration window is also present in the purchased version of Studio One; you'll have to live with it.

Runs like a dumpster fire in general.

From my crash logs, it crashes at an average of 3 times per day - LEGIT VERSION!

But wait, it gets better: it crashes but does not die, it stays behind in the task manager and you must:
end task / run again / error / end task / run again / error / end task / run again / starts up.

But wait, now your midi controllers are not working.

    15 minutes have gone.

    Other bugs and missing features:

They decided not to support the new features in the NI S-Series controllers.

    Codebase feels like a mess.
Stupid database structure under the hood, very old. The more plugins or larger project you have, the worst it will run.
Want to update a plugin thumbnail? It will literally have to load and unload the entire database file.

Don't change the ruler from 4/4 to 3/4 then back. Snapping will die forever in that project (50 percent chance)
They havent fixed this one since V3!

Sometimes it freezes for absolutely no reason, with 0 plugins loaded. Sometimes works fine with 200 plugins loaded for 24 hours.

No way to remove individual plugin settings. You will have to go through txt file and manually delete entries.

No plugin categories unless you painstakingly make them.
You painstakingly take 2 hours and make plugin categories, and S1 crashes on exit - probably fails to write the database file.
Guess what? Start again, it reloads the last "working" version by default.

Files browser sucks, no way to rate your samples, or add favorites or anything.

    And many, many more.

and yeah I still feel at home in it for some reason

Try reinstalling your operating system. What CPU do you have? Tell me about your hardware.
I've never encountered or heard of this problem before; I suspect your hardware or operating system is faulty or inadequate.

In my case, I experienced crashes due to a lack of administrator permissions, which I solved by going to the main executable, right-clicking on it, selecting more options, properties, going to the compatibility tab, and checking an option that says “Always run as administrator” or something like that. Keep in mind that I also had to apply this method to some programs, such as Atlas, because sometimes when I relocated the sound bank, it would crash, and it was for this very reason: the permissions were not constantly activated in the main launcher.

W11 user, recently tested on Studio one 7.2.3 from R2R , now im testin Studio one 7 pro DEMO. the same for both.
