I think I see the resemblance to Phil. Gary's daughter is in this equally-spacious/dystopian one:

Wendy O. Williams's album WOW (1984) was produced by Gene Simmons and featured the Simmons/Mitch Weissman-written song 'Thief in the Night', which later appeared on Kiss's album Crazy Nights.

Besides Savatage, my other favorite US power band is Vicious Rumors, which is unfortunately even more underrated than Savatage.

^ Bit outside my taste (although not bad), but a thumb up nevertheless for sharing what can be a difficult subject-matter.

(Curiously, the songs that often make me sad are often not the ones that might be trying to be.
It's like that movie, Good Morning Vietnam, where they're showing bombing while playing that What A Wonderful World song or whatever its exact title. I get the sarcasm/juxtaposition, but it nevertheless completely removed all of the scene's potential/effect for me. Maybe it was a good thing in a way.)

Anyway, here's one (Kaunis Ihminen, by Happoradio) within my taste, and one of my faves from the band, that yours makes me think of:

The breathe. album (For Your Darkest Days) was released today. It's a stunning piece of work. I love every track.

From October 31 to November 1, 2025, music history will be made at St. Thomas Church in Leipzig, Bach's place of work: Thomas organist Johannes Lang will take on the monumental challenge of performing Johann Sebastian Bach's entire organ works in a 22-hour concert.
