Falcon 3 was released last year. And why exactly are the instructions a mess?

So, at midnight tomorrow, R2R is bringing that monster from the land of the dead, huh? A lot of people are hoping it'll be the UAD monster, like, that's the one, right?
If it's not, with all the hype that's been building up, it'll be such a letdown

So, i was doing some digging while we wait, and after some deep dives on reddit, github etc, i actually found a tutorial on the R2R process!!!! NOT CLICKBAIT!!! this is the actual, legit R2R process!

 

The Sharcs are not cheap. If they did the entire library, overhauling the Sharc protection, you might still need the hardware.

 

Here’s a point that everyone seems to overlook:

This is just a theory.
Why might it be PT? Because back on the sister site, the witches once left a note in the NFO: “A gong is waiting for something...”
That means: We could do it, but we’re not doing it — for a reason.
Did we learn that reason later on? Runtime Blocker? Infrastructure preparation?

The DAW is “The Legendary Monster,” and the plugins to be used within it (“Save your money…”) — why not Pokémons and their balls?
Especially when you consider the purpose behind Runtime Blocker...

Forget about Protools, it's already been done—it'll be UAD, obviously... and boring. If all their plugins were native, you might find something interesting, but as it is, it's all long outdated.

Technically, it never truly surfaced.

A quick question for someone like me who owns a legit Falcon 3 and uses SonicPass to [previously] unlock and download every single UVI plug-in, Soundware, device, etc. — is it even worth it at this point to make all my rented-content…”native” (to me)? I keep struggling with this question (a big shout-out to the others who were kind enough to help me get closer to the answer of this question on a separate post on this-here site).

Actually, I keep struggling with this question because I didn’t know whether to invest in buying all of their content or invest in a UAD-2 Octo Satellite and their UAD-3 Complete Bundle (now on sale for ~$1,500 while it’s hardware counter-part would run about ~$1,700). You can imagine how this ‘gong news’ — as fun as it may be — has completely sent me into a tailspin. Also, as someone pointed-out — yes, while it is true that to some degree the plugins available for UAD Native are ‘outdated’…I can’t help but to find that notion highly-ironic since were discussing a platform aimed at marketing extremely-outdated (by decades, in fact) outboard gear, lol.

In any other news, who’s excited for one more sleep until the big reveal!? I’m trying to remember in the past if they’d announced ‘gongs’ as soon as the clock struck twelve or if we were made to wait well-into Friday to be offered a slice of cake?

The way they write, they don't really know what they want yet. They seem to have plenty of money. The question is, when do they plan to use the unlimited access via Sonic Pass? Your day only has 24 hours, too. Are they retired and have a lot of time on their hands? Consider the human greed for more; in the end, you'll drown in plugins, presets, samples...!

The Halloween Monster Gong Special always comes out pretty much at the end of the following day...!

 

I think the big PA/Softube release around 2019 was shortly after midnight NYD, with a bit of trickle in the week before, starting with a Slate release.

If its a Halloween release, surely it needs to come into the wild when the witches come out, right?

 

Even if R2R were to bang the gong on the stroke of midnight according to their time zone - whether this coincides with your midnight is dependent on your location and which time zone you are in. At this moment in time (11:35 GMT on Thurs Oct 30) it is already midnight in New Zealand (00:35 NZDT on Fri Oct 31).

Who knows? Only the witches.
