I changed my internet connection and been using wireless in a new place and all Overloud plugins manage to home call, I set the network connection on https only and blocked everything as usual. Hosts file is all in right settings. How the hell did it manage to get through is beyond me.

I didnt need it before but now I need the r4e patcher, couldnt find it in my PC, probably never keep it. Searched at the sister's site but never found it, has it ever been posted there ?

I think I'm using the newest release, they never caused me any problem before for Idk 5 years? bcs my internet blocked properly. I moved to a new place and there's no wired internet connection just yet. Using wireless and we all know it is weird in a way how the connection isn't direct but remote or something, it ignores my settings that only allow https connection. http connections went through somehow as the case with Overloud plugins. I checked my firewall, hosts file and everything is in order. The only way I could think of is stop the home calling from the plugin itself. I think R2R's releases aren't fully patched for homecalling, so r4e made the patch himself.

    oh I see now,
Overloud registration is mac address based, so if you pick a licensing device mac address, then you cannot disable that network interface - this is a limitation for legit customers too (!)

    Hi all,

Just installed Overloud Gem series and followed every step one by one.
I've blocked overloud website from settings>screentime>Content & Privacy.
Run keygen with crossover and generated file with my mac adress.
But there is no Hidden file with the name "GEMS" .
I've created folder manually but no luck.

Do you know any solution for that?

all you guys know very well that with over loud you need to block the host address using terminal or a free Mac app called hosts, same with a few others, once you do this then start installing what ever as instructions say

I don't know if the latest versions of Windows have this feature, but MacOS has a Rotate Wi-Fi Setting which causes it to switch to a randomly created MAC address. Since the Overloud license is tied to this, it will fail when this is activated. I never deliberately activated this, but somehow it got turned on and killed all my Overloud plugins.

Whether or not your MAC Address will change will be determined by your WiFi settings:
Settings > WiFi > [Your WiFI Network Name / SSID] - tap the blue "i" icon - Private WiFi Address > select OFF, Fixed or Rotating as required

OFF - Your iPhone will use its unique burned-in MAC Address that was assigned during manufacture.
Fixed - Your iPhone will use a randomly selected MAC Address; this MAC Address will always be used for this WiFi connection.
Rotating - Your iPhone will use a randomly selected MAC Address; this MAC Address will change periodically, or when reconnecting to this WiFi network connection.

Be aware that the Private Address feature is largely unnecessary for your home WiFi network; if enabled, Private Addressing can cause issues if specific MAC addresses are expected by your WiFi Router. You may need to disable this feature - and can be enabled or disabled for each individual network.

After many days and many fails, I finally made them plugins work
    Here is my setup.
MacOS 15.5, little snitch to block domain (also edited host just in case), Privacy Wifi Address : Fixed.

I always ended up with "DEMO" mode but then today I was like. why don't i try a different hardware mac address on keygen so:
    On terminal I typed
    Code:
    networksetup -listallhardwareports
I have noticed that other than my wifi hardware mac address, there happens to be a thunderbolt bridge mac address which is same with tb1 so I was like "I will try this one on keygen" and voila, It worked like magic:disco:.

Fyi: I have no cable connection with my ios devices and i always connect/use Wi-Fi
    ----
UPDATE: I tested "Privacy Wifi Address: Rotating" option with other wifi connections and offline, all plugins work flawlessly.

This is an excellent solution, as setting the rotating Address to fixed is a can of worms with several issues. So far, in my testing, this solution holds up regardless of changes in networks and restarts, without compromising security.
