old (x86/32bit) legendary plugins, that sounds amazing today

    Love it! Poor man's microtonic. Considering reinstalling it on my new system. It was working via jbridge on my old system.

    Some of these have 64bit but they are just dead & old but still great

    Harmour although there is a 64bit version.
    Poseidon
    imposcar 2 has some older & rawer patches not on version 3
    wavemapper PPG
    PHonem PPG
    cakewalk dimension pro
    did nobody mention Absynth?
    some ancient reaktor ens too many to mention.
    Iris 2 vst3 but pretty much dead.

    oh really? Cmoooon That great. I´m using Bitwig on Mac.
    So on Windows they still support 32BIT VST? Cool.

    It´s not completly OT here, because some People could need help to reactivate their old 32Bit Plugins.
    I wrote a short tutorial here, how you can use 32BIT Windows VSTs on modern MAC OSX:

    Yeah I use it almost like that The only thing is that Reaper doesn't need jBridge and runs 32-bit on its own without any problems.

    The fellow was convicted as a child molester but his plugins were literally golden. The 32 bit versions are still around.

    Vintage 32 bit plugins sounds warmer and less digital than 64 bit counterparts.

    One of the heavyweight trap producers uses one of the synths from this thread btw, to this day, produced for Drake, Playboy Carti etc..
    There might be even two synths here that are still in use at least.

    @Synclavier - i think i already rock their updated version too, but this old one is rock solid still

    MinimogueVA was updated (you can find it at the memorymoon site, free download at the bottom of the page). But the Arppe2600 VA was buggy at the time, but sounded so good! Hope they take care of it and release an updated version some day!
