So I've used linksnappy to download for well over a year now with no issues. However recently it is returning no downloads. What will happen is I successfully get the download links in linksnappy click them. It will open up the "untitled" page for the download gate, then immediately close it with no prompt to download. Anyone able to help?

 

Are you running VPN? This might shed some light if yes. If not running VPN, you should be...

 

I tried with a vpn enabled and disabled. Same result.

 

Did you just turn it on/off/change location or did you change the vpn state and close the peeplink page, hard refresh the page (ctrl +f5 or cmd + sft + r) that contains the peeplink container links and then click into one of the peeplinks again?

 

Completely disabled the VPN, restarted PC with VPN disabled and retried the downloads

 

I just recalled I too encountered something similar for a spell when I used LS. Are you using a DL manager? I suppose you would have mentioned this, but in my case IDM was grabbing them (without being told to do so) and then erroring out everything because it didn't have the permissions setup, one of my browser extensions (which I can't recall) was also contributing. Ensuring IDM wasn't running in background and I think disabling whatever addon it was resolved it, but I also stopped using LS as well as IDM shortly thereafter so I'm fuzzy on exactly what was going awry.

Dunno if that'll be helpful for you in this case.
