Does anyone know off any specific sites that concentrate mainly on Guitar Tab PDF's??

I know there are some listed on the sister site, but keen to see what else is out there.

There used to be one site I'd go to all the time, but for the life of me I can't remember the name of it.

There used to be a site called joeysguitartabs years ago and it was amazing, but it's been taken down and I haven't found anything since. I'd love to find another site that hosted guitar tab books.

 

That name rings a bell. Yeah the site I remember was super cool. Shame it's gone. Hopefully someone else knows of a decent site.

There are a couple of active torrents available for collections of guitar magazines, I'm currently going through them myself and saving tabs for songs that I like.

Ultimate Guitar has a ton of user made PDFs now and you can filter by format. Songsterr also lets you export clean tabs if you prefer reading on paper. If you want official sheets, Hal Leonard and Musicnotes keep the biggest libraries.

 

Songsterr is the best imo. The closest to source material. And theres sheet music dropped on the sister site occasionally. If youre into metal and prog then sheethappens is worth looking into.
I would rather learn by ear or not learn at all than ever go to ultimate guitar.

Came here to say Ultimate Guitar - unfortunately, there's some inaccurate tabs too.

 

A very long time ago we learned by ear, our ears picked out the notes and chords in the songs we wanted to play. now you can do this easily with software to assist you in learning. This is more rewarding than tabs.

On either of them go to the search bar and just type in Guitar TAB and a plethora of results shall appear. For the Internet Archive after you click on the one you want then on the next page on the right hand side there will be a list of formats that you can download your choice in. If that list isn't on the right hand side that means you cannot download it. I don't know why they even list them if you cannot download them, but that is just the way it is. But between these two sites you should be able to find about any TAB book you could be looking for. I was blown away when I found these sites.

Z-lib (and I presume the Archive) has plenty of official PDF songbooks. I'm not sure how well they cater to rarer stuff, but it's a starting point.
