You got 3 versions(well i got them now too), one of the good things about the fresh ears is perception, making comments and mix decisions late at night is in my opinion waste of time, so i wont be doing that thing anymore, burned myself too many times. Now that being said i wonder what technique all those 90´s guys used...for exsmaple, Photek who is well know also worked with a specific mastering engineer, so what i´m saying, in the chase of the final product the end lap might be in someone´s else hands and this way you got 3 of which v2 is obviously the best mixed and clean...all to choose from. This is where that "art of listening" thing comes in, i know that many engineers mess things up, i think Stuart Hawkes is the name.

 

Damn, I've never done one of these, but had just been working on a short track that I think really resonates with the photo. Oh well. I should pay more attention to them!
