On the sister website, R2R had posted v2 of the limited edition for the Korg M1 plugin- though not completely what I'd expect to see on the front of the site, something did catch my my eye.

Said post contained the following, and I quote:

Our keygen supports legit C&R system of KORG Software Pass. It provides full legit ProTools and macOS compatibility like legit version ;)

The new keygen supports KORG M1 Le and Collection 6. According to the spying department of witches, PS-3300, SGX-2, TRINITY will be available soon.

Trinity has got me the most stoked. Sadly, the Korg Collection promo/info site has remained advertising mark 5 of the collection.

Shall we discuss about this discovery, thanks to the witches?

 

I think Korg (Japan) is also always watching what Arturia (France) is doing, because many old, expensive analog synthesizers have gone digital at a low cost. If they want to make money, they'll have a plan and implement it. Theoretically, everything analog is becoming digital.

Let's wait and see, there's definitely more to come for us musicians, because traditional hardware musical instruments are very expensive to produce, and musicians don't buy enough hardware—so software is the future.

 

Figures. Thank you. What I'm hoping they do is make sort of a DLC-ish update to the M1 where they bundle in the entire 01/W into it, or even just a major update/addition for free, maybe eventually bundle in the OASYS or even the M3. I dig the classic, analogue recreations, believe me but I personally synths such as the 01/W are due for a revitalization, especially if they partially gave it life on the Nintendo DS in that one Korg DS thing they did once.
