I've forgotten how I do this now without messing anything else up. I have a couple of libraries where they look in the wrong folder. You click on a library and instead of going to the root of that folder first it goes to the samples folder. I have to manually point it back at the root of the folder, then it loads OK. How can I make it search the root folder first. That is, the folder that has the specific library? Is batch re-save the only way to do it? I didn't want to do it that way if possible as it converts them to only work in Kontakt 8+ and I do use an older version of kontakt sometimes too. Any suggestions?

 

Batch convert them with the old version of Kontakt.

It's worth noting that when that happens (samples not found when loading instrument) is because that instrument has already been resaved. With the option "use absolute path" enabled, that is.
