There is nothing like manually mangling with analog synths, analog gear and doing shit yourself, fuck AI, fuck it big time.
Blood, sweat and tears this is what its all about.
Can AI do this? Fuck no.

Hans Zimmer is big on AI he has been trying to train his giant catalog of music made by his double digit amount of producers who make all his stuff.

Here are the people doing the blood sweat and tears.
    https://www.linkedin.com/company/remote-control-productions-inc./people/

    https://blog.multiable.com/2025/02/...and-erp-in-luxury-business-software-solutions

He used to be anti AI but his company Remote Control Productions has been working out backdoor deals with AI companies for his catalog.

most pop music of the last decade is pure crap. it doesn't surprise me at all that ai can duplicate the "effort". it wouldn't shock me at all if ai creates better pop songs than 90% of what humans do within five years. i really miss the music of the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s when people had to be actual artists in order to make it in the music business. i have seen modern artists performing "live" on tv and it is clear that they are playing to backing tracks. it takes so little talent to be a "star" these days.

In some countries, AI music is already being openly used in background music industries, such as low-budget films, dramas, and TV commercials.
The notion that AI lacks creativity or is meaningless is simply a denial of reality and will not help you in any way.
    Prepare for the competitive era.

AI saves money and time in many areas and, as @bravesounds aptly pointed out, will therefore become increasingly powerful and increasingly manifest itself in almost all areas of life, usually without even noticing the changes.

For us private individuals, this means backing up your favorite bands, videos, and everything else from the World Wide Web to your home hard drive; who knows how long it will still be available.

If you tell the AI to paint a picture of Picasso, then the AI will do it. It can only do what already exists; it follows your programming. If it doesn't have any data or pictures of Picasso, no Picasso will come out. But it's much faster and cheaper than commissioning a painter to create a Picasso-like picture.

Add to that the 3D printers that then print the image—not using oil paints, of course. Will many painters be out of work? Probably!

So you suggest downloading media, books, favorite bands illegally rather than supporting them by buying the (REAL ART MADE BY HUMAN).. :)
And at the same time you cry because AI is bad, It's not real art, it will steal jobs from humans..

    Great example of hypocrisy!

Unfortunately, you're incapable of even understanding what I wrote. You're drawing completely wrong conclusions from what I actually said. Then you distort the facts and accuse me of things I didn't actually say.

That makes sense for him. Anyone who knows him knows that he (clearly a complete freak like no other of his kind) is generally very open to anything new. I also like him beside his sound, because he's so against the grain. For example, back when everyone was talking about the good old Philadelphia Strings with tons of musicians, as he also sometimes produced like that, he suddenly blurted out: Guys, there's something new. It's called GIGASAMPLER and it can handle 1GB. Just imagine! You could possibly save yourself all the hassle with a concert hall and all those artists and even have the freedom to incorporate small string playing errors into a library like that, thats phantastic! (I had to laugh a lot about this)

I had the same or similar problem recently, but I wasn't able (due to my English language skills) to express it as clearly (and in a way that I perceived as elitist-friendly as you did) PulseWave, I hope you'll allow me to copy your sentence and add it to my Notepad++ "notice randbar." (In case it happens again, which is quite possible since now, see you) Thanks.

    Whats the thought?
I cant really pinpoint personality to be honest, neither Sam Altman´s, it always has this feeling of being shallow from human perspective and covered by too many words. Words words words.

Eploitation mindset and teenage voice behind it, i cant even try to be motivated to exploit the world that openly and talk that much about it.

All the creativity the algo is trained on does not come from that place of mind.

What's there to understand? You say you're against AI, yet your posts are copy and paste from grok, chatgpt.. :dunno: ((not all posts))
And rather than encouraging others to download everything, it's better if you support your human idols, or AI will always have more space, don't you think?
PS. Relax, i'm not attacking you, i'm just pointing out something you might not understand!

You're by far the worst guy I know here at AudiSexPro.
You twist words around, you use clumsy assumptions and insinuations, I'm putting you on the ignore list now.

For so little? If you're truly offended (and you're not trolling), i'm sorry.. I stick to my opinions, so i don't feel wrong, but i'm sorry if anyone (even if strangers) feels this way because of me..

I'm embracing AI music with both hands. The modern music industry made music completely dull, uninspiring, primitive and dumb to the point I can't listen to the radio anymore, I think I heard one single song last year that I genuinely liked and none this year. And I believe that once every kid has their own "hit maker machine" in form of some AI gadget people will be fed with crap music and that will force record companies to look for those who have something to say. History itself has proven that pendulum always bounces back and since we are at rock bottom then the only direction is to the top, so I'm staying positive. AI will force out mediocre that are filling the charts nowadays. (Well, of course there's another possibility, that its only going to be dumber and worse but that possibility isn't directly connected to music but rather to the society itself, if society only going to degrade then obviously music going to reflect that)

Your wife and daughter die after being hacked to death with machetes by a paramilitary funded by some superpower that wished to control your country's narrative when you needed to walk 5 miles to the nearest clean water source to carry back 10 gallons to stave off for as long as you can until the dehydration from the dysentery your daughter was infected when Doctors Without Borders can fly into your village with the medication to save her life. When you return you find them, your entire village burned, all the animals slaughtered and now your whole world turned to darkness.

How would you prompt an AI program to write a song to express your feeling of anger and wish of retribution, your wish that it was you instead of them or the scene at the funeral service and your new anti outlook of your own life?

How could a software program read your ever changing emotions, your mind and express your personal truth?

It can't. Anything at all would be inauthentic and a ridiculous bunch of bullshit wrapped in a cold unfeeling algorithm. It wouldn't be art and it wouldn't be worth the binary code it was made from...not ones and zeros, but just billions of fucking 000000000000000000s.

An average person can write a mainstream pop song lyrics in a minute. So 56 seconds would not bother me.

I genuinely cant stand listening to any modern mainstream music for longer than 4 seconds, it really grates on my nerves and is nothing like the pop music I grew up listening to. I found that some of the AI pop music is actually a bit more listenable than what is being churned out by big labels so that's a bit of progress in my books. AI can also be very good at producing long lost genres, far better than some real bands out there, I really want to hear some new pop music that I like but detest post Y2K production so maybe AI is a good thing in that department as I don't want to spend the rest of my life just listening to the music I grew up with.
