HOLMImpulse free IR measurement program

HOLMImpulse is a freeware program for frequency- and impulse-response measurement.

The goals for the application
- Measure Impulse-response
- Measure Phase-response
- Measure Frequency-response
- Measure Harmonic distortion (THD)
- Make bandwidth limited measurements with no phase-errors
- Compare measurements
- Import Frequency- & Impulse-response
- Export Frequency- & Impulse-response
- Using open format for saved files (zip, wav/flac, txt)

 

This is a very cool idea, think of the possibilities?

Everyone around the world can take their own impulse responses, shut the front door! We should start a database of ir files that people can post to!

We could hear ir from someone's grandmother's attic, my bathroom, someone's fetish room, etc. You get the point. I wonder what the impulse response of my weed grow room is!!!

 

It may or not work so well as there might be a "buzz" mixed into the IR from your grow room. LOL

There is less interest in IR nowadays. It became "just another tool". No more hype like 10 years ago
