Trouble with checksum error

    Just in the last week I have been getting CRC errors on all .rar files I download. I've used every unrar app at my disposal (and that's all of them including Pacifist) but even if I get to a .pkg to install I get an installion failed message. This is now consistent behaviour installing to plug-ins and Kontakt libs. I don't think the .rar is at fault since I've been watching the comments and it seems I'm the only one with this problem. I'm baffled.... any thoughts?

    Check Your ram. Had the same Problem once.

    Thanks Karl.... all 32GB checked out fine... tried a different Mac... same prob.... tried it wireless and hard wired via ethernet... tried different wall sockets.... all the same... I think the router is dodgy. Have ordered a new one.
