    Hello audio friends...
Last night, for the first time, I tried connecting my professional Sennheiser headphones (the one I use with the Clarett Focusrite audio interface) to my Samsung smartphone, but, as I expected, the sound was very low and also distorted... I imagine due to Ohm incompatibility.
I'm sure you've all experienced this inconvenience too.

In your opinion (without spending a fortune), what are the best headphones for a Samsung smartphone?
So I can listen to great music even in bed before sleeping... :grooves:

Thanks for the advice and for your time (instead of going to the beach). :mates:

    Thanks for the advice...
though I must admit I'm not very keen on battery-powered models that need constant recharging... they stress me out.

It's the same with my Mac keyboard and smartphones... it becomes a form of slavery, an addiction (I'd prefer a wired model). :winker:

I'm not going to recommend a pair of headphones but I will let you know about this little beauty as you mentioned having feelings about needing to recharge stuff. I've been using this at night to connect my headphones as well as to charge it simultaneously. It works like a charm and my phone or tablet is fully charged. It's been great.

Thanks @Lois Lane, I was looking for something like that, the company Startech often has solutions for technical problems that other companies don't have. www.startech.com/en-us/cards-adapters/cdp2capdm

I've read on Amazon that there are issues with the USB... it's important to choose the right model for your Mac.

These are very useful. I got one with two piggy tails in hope it removes stress from the usb-c port.
Mine was about 10 bucks or something on amazon, I guess they all have more or less the same chip inside.
Still, I'm not sure it powers high impedance headphones very well. It does a great job with my dt770 with 80 ohm, but I wouldnt throw a 250 ohm headphone on that.
I would recommend a DT770 Pro with 32 ohm, or the new DT770 Pro X with 47 ohm.
But these come in at about 150 and 200 bucks, not too bugdet friendly.
I know the bluetooth / battery stuff sucks, but butdet-wise those models do make sense, they are mass produced and you get more bang for the bucks. I bought Ankers Soundcore brand every now and then, and was never disappointed in the 50-70 bucks price range.

//edit: on / over-ear headphones have quite powerful batteries in there, they last about 36 hours.
I charge mine after 2 weeks or so. Its not really something to worry about, its not like your phone or your tws in ears.
